My husband loves Seiko watches. He wanted a new everyday watch for winter that was not so large and interfered with his long sleeves and coats. The face and band on this Prospex Seiko divers watch is perfect size. Stylish, comfortable, functional, durable, water resistance all in one for a GREAT price.

I was taken in by the penguins. Long story short: I have wrist size 19.5 cm, but I prefer smaller watches. I have watches from 37mm to 42mm. The 42 mm Citizen hurts my hand when I bend my wrist up. The crown is huge. Other watches are slightly more successful, but the 42s are definitely the most difficult to wear. This one is 43. It wears easier than the 37. I'm still using the strap that came with it, but even with it snugged down to my hand, I can bend my hand up easily and without pain. Maybe it's the rubber strap, maybe it's the close lugs, but this is clearly a winner! The only thing I would change is the metal strap keeper, but I've only had it for a couple of hours now, so I might change my mind.

This is my first Seiko dive watch, and it's a real standout from typical divers. I love the dial and bezel and how they complement each other. I knocked off one star because the watch is not as accurate as other autos I own, plus Seiko's continuing obsession with Hardlex. For what I paid for this piece, sapphire should be mandatory.
