GREAT juicer once you understand the safety lock
I almost didn’t buy this juicer because of reviews saying it was hard to open or lock. On my first day, I was also confused — until I realized this is actually a safety feature. The juicer only locks or unlocks when the lid is OPEN. Once you understand that, it becomes very easy to use. I’m adding a video to help others avoid the same confusion I had at the beginning. The juicer itself is excellent. I use it every day as part of a 10‑day detox, making juice for two adults. I barely cut the fruits, don’t remove seeds, and use ingredients like celery, kale, cucumber, cabbage, apples, lemon, and oranges (I only remove the citrus peel). It handles everything very well. After understanding how it works properly, I can say this was a great purchase and I’m very happy with it.

Love this juicer!
I am so happy with my purchase and grateful I purchased this juicer. This was a gift to myself and I just love it! The juicer parts and materials have made with quality and care. I was concerned about the plastic, but it’s working amazingly well and the parts are constructed with care. The juice yield with denser vegetables such as carrots is much less than things like apples or cucumbers, so I’m not sure if a more expensive juicer would give a better yield, but I’m very pleased and enjoying this juicer so much. I have previously owned 3 other juicers from high end ($800) to low end ($40) and I can truly say that this juicer is a great value! It’s so easy to clean. I haven’t begun daily juicing yet, so I’m not sure what the performance would be like with that level of use, but so far for a few times a week, it’s doing great! Thank you to whomever made this juicer & put a low cost option out there to make this style of juicing accessible.

Great price great juice!
Great juicer. Holds a large amount of product. It is a little loud but nothing I can't live with. Cleaning the solid waste gate could be easier to access but with slight effort it is easily cleaned. Great economical wayt to get fresh juice!

Poor juice quality
We juiced our apples with this juicer putting 5-6 whole apples in and the first half cup was clear and tasty (about 1 apple) then it became gradually more dark and thicker to the point where we couldn’t drink it anymore … any subsequent apples we tried juicing without cleaning the machine came out as thick as apple sauce. It turns out that the 3 stage filter (the stainless steel screen on the front of the filter basket with smaller holes on the bottom, medium holes in the middle and bigger holes at the top) is a pretense…the plastic filter basket that holds the screen has holes around the sides and back…these holes let most of the pulp through regardless of what the front screen does. Anyway, the screen works ok for the first minute of juicing but then the juicer allows too much pulp through the upper bigger holes of the screen and through the sides and back of the plastic filter basket. It might be ok for someone who wants to make apple sauce, but not for us wanting apple juice. I tried contacting them a few times to ask them about making sorbet, because they showed a video of it, but they gave no instructions. I really like sorbet and thought that even if I couldn't use the juicer for juice, I might keep the machine just for sorbet… but no one got back to me. So we just bought a bag of frozen mango chunks and put them in to test it. Again, it worked fine for the first minute, nice smooth texture coming out of the pulp chute (because the pieces are frozen no juice is made so nothing comes out of the juice chute), but the problem then became that the machine didn’t pull in the chunks of mango anymore… they were just slipping and spinning around at the top… now perhaps if I let them thaw a little more it might work better but I didn’t want to try and just made up my mind to return this cold press juicer since I have a Champion juicer and I ran a bag of mango chunks through that machine without any issues (the silver lining is that I had no idea that my Champion juicer would work for sorbet and only found out after trying to compare it with the Amzchef :). I just found out that my window of time for returning the machine is over (by two days) but I will call them to see if they will assist me… I was really hoping that the Amzchef would work out because I really liked the idea of not having to cut up my apples and not having to press them down…putting whole fruit in and walking away, letting the juicer work… maybe someday they’ll improve their filter design.

This is a great product if you don't mind some pulp
This is awesome, also my 1st but it does all I need it to. And everything I want it to, it is a lot of cleaning but very very useful. And it makes juicing fun not only can I use it for everything I need it gets the job done pretty fast. It's not for smoothies but because it doesn't keep all the pulp out I dont mind but it works very good for me. And tough get a lot of juice back

Easy to use and easy to clean
Definitely a great buy! Easy to use and clean. My 14 year old loves mixing up fruits and creating flavorful juices. My honey is not a big veggie eater, but loves drinking the juices I create in this awesome cold press machine. The machine can press over 32 oz depending on the size of the fruit: 1 large pineapple and 2 mangos provides 32 oz of juice. 1 pineapple and 3 oranges provides over 32 oz. Depending on the fruit you may get some pulp. In this case the mango was ripe so it pressed some pulp. No biggie I loved it. Machine size is perfect for my family

Does juicing nicely, hard to clean
In general not bad for the price. What I don’t like is the difficulty in getting the parts decreased of pulp and getting it clean…. Wish it was just a bit more convenient. Time can be important. Pulp sticks in the small places you can’t get to easy.

Excellent Cold Press, Good for Carrots and Celery
I juice carrots on a daily basis, and all of my old juicers broke because of the constant carrots being run through. Surprisingly, this juicer also does very well with celery, which is really hard for other juicers, as the cleaning part is harder. It was basically ready out of the box and worked really fast. Overall, the juicer got all of the juice out and left the pulp dry, good value.
