Nice bike, but not properly tuned or greased — extra bike shop visit needed
The bike looks nice, feels durable, and our son loves it. It seems well built and like it will last several years. Assembly was easy. However, it’s clearly machine-assembled and not properly greased or tuned. Several parts were over-tightened, and the rear brakes were resting on the wheel, making it extremely hard to pedal. My husband tried adjusting them, but they wouldn’t stay centered. We had to take it to a bike shop and spend an extra $50 just to make it rideable. Once professionally adjusted, it rides well — but needing a paid tune-up right out of the box was disappointing.

Good quality bike
This was a purchase for my son who is 4. The bike is great and is good quality. Once put together I noticed the weight was fairly light, allowing him to maneuver well on it. The size of the bike (16") is also a great height for my son and gives him room to grow without the bike becoming too small too soon. A downside is that I had noticed that the pedals are abnormally hard to put and seems to stick, making it hard for my son to peddle. I have since added some lubrication to the peddle gear box, but it does not seem to help this issue. I would stand to guess that over time and much use this would loosen, but I am planning on having a bike shop take a look to see if they can loosen it. Overall my son loves his bike and I believe it was a good purchase.

Cheap material and poorly made
The bike is fine, the stickers are kind of hideous. The basket is so cheap looking and it keeps falling off. Basically it does not hold anything. Find a better bike somewhere else.

Perfect first big kid bike
We bought this for my 4 year old for his birthday and it’s been a great purchase. He took off on it without training wheels on day one! We love the it has pedal breaking and handle braking. The handle only activates the back brake making it safer. I was worried about it being too heavy but my son handles it just fine. Picks it up on his own.
