I loved HTC for their simplicity in design and consistent quality
Let me start out by saying that I am team Android always and forever! Let me also start out by saying that I was also team HTC for the last 6 years up until the creation of this masterpiece! I loved HTC for their simplicity in design and consistent quality, but they stopped innovating and creating and moving forward with their phones, so I decided to look elsewhere. I happened upon this phone at the Sprint store when I was due for a new phone, and played with it for a bit, confused by its buttons and new (to me) operating system. I asked an employee to explain what was good and bad about this phone, and he told me honestly that it just came out the day before and he knew little about it except that it had an awesome camera. I had no idea that it was so new, and I knew that meant there wouldn't be much online in the form of reviews or YouTube videos. I did my best to do some spec research before diving in, but I knew I wanted it! Pros +Camera! Duh! (I have a little one and I have a slight obsession with taking pictures of all the cute and messy things he does all day) The panoramic function is a favorite, but the camera just set on auto takes some great photos. +Screen. Beautiful colors and resolution. +Runs super smooth and has a clean and simple operating system. +Charges fairly quickly and the battery last a good amount of time for hoe much I use the phone all day. Cons (these are more of annoyances, than cons) -I hated the "knock-on" feature and found a way to disable that as quickly as possible. -I have a weird screen glitch sometimes when I wake up my phone that stops if I press the sleep/wake button off and on again. (Anyone experience this? I think it might have to do with me messing with the "knock-on" feature.

Worked for 2 weeks and DIED - review edited!!
I was super happy with the phone until today. It suddenly shut off with 50% battery left and plugged in to the charger. It would not turn back on. I left it on the charger (tried multiple chargers to be sure they were working) for 6 hours and still nothing. My roommate has the same phone, so we swapped batteries. My battery worked in her phone but my phone still will not turn on. I've tried contacting the seller through Amazon, but it keeps redirecting me back to my Orders page. I'm really bummed because while it was working, I really loved it. *EDIT* I did some Googling and it turns out this was a big problem with the LG G4 phones awhile back. There was a big class action and LG had to re-manufacture a ton of them as well as replace a bunch of dead phones. Something bad with the motherboard. I talked to Amazon and they refunded me without question. My fiance has since purchased another one of these and it works perfectly. So, if yours craps out out of the blue, you got one of the old ones. If you get a good one, it's an excellent phone!

Great Phone
I moved up to this from a Samsung S4. Before that owned an iPhone. Positives: - Replaceable battery. (huge benefit in my opinion, especially if you travel or are a heavy user) - Can add up to 2 TB of memory by card (another huge benefit that the other tops phones do not have) - Sharp, bright screen. - Fast processor. - Camera appears to be excellent. - Build of phone appears to be high quality. I'd expect it to last must longer than an iPhone. - Lots of not mandatory but never less cool features -- too many to list. Weaknesses: - Phone does get warm when it is doing heavy work, but I got some of that with my S4 too. Never hot to the point that it needs to shut down. - Back of phone is curved. Feels good when holding it, but slightly annoying when you are using it when it is lying on a table. - Volume and on/off button is located on back, not side. Not a huge problem, but takes getting use to.

I've always loved LG. After a couple of years of Galaxy ...
The seller, EdgeCelluar, is great- 5 stars, I've bought used phones from them before, and never a complaint. The phone, however, is a different story. In the past, I've always loved LG. After a couple of years of Galaxy S4 phones, I decided to give this phone a shot to "try something different" when I needed to upgrade. While it worked, it was a good phone. A big upgrade over the S4 in screen appearance, camera, and speakerphone, etc. And I LOVED the button placement with the "knock-knock" feature. So, I was very happy. I bought some accessories for it, including a separate stand-alone battery charger device to be able to rotate batteries on it,because that was the worst thing- the battery life was pretty bad. But, it had a removable battery, so I could deal with it! Fast forward not even 4.5 months. I'm on my way home from work, with my phone plugged into the car charger, sitting in the car's cupholder- JUST LIKE ALWAYS. When I get home and grab my phone, I try to check it to see if I missed any alerts while I was driving. To my surprise, the G4's screen wouldn't turn on. Kind of weird, but I kept trying. Still no luck. I tried to power it back on, and nothing. I went inside, plugged it into a wall charger, and still it didn't even vibrate that it was receiving a charge. So, I switched batteries, and repeated everything. My phone was broken! Did I do anything to it?! No! I went to Google, and tried to reset it, and then tried a master reset. Nothing worked. In my Googling, I found out these G4's had a problem where a software update would just simply case a conflict that causes the G4 to "brick." That is, it made it completely useless without the ability to turn on. I am so disappointed. I lost my phone. The thing I depend upon, maybe a little too much,, but through no fault of my own for once. LG will do nothing for me since I bought it used. I lost pictures and videos of my baby. I can never get those back. I do routinely back up, but I hadn't done so for the past couple of weeks, and so I lost the media from my first spring break with him. I lost the $ that I just put into this phone less than 5 months ago, and with the accessories I bought for it because I will NOT replace this phone with another LG.

2 1/2 months and it died. Gave up the ghost. Kicked the bucket. It didn't even give a last hurrah. Croaked. Just plain dead.
I really liked this phone when it first arrived. IT was a nice upgrade from my G2. I know it was used but it seemed to be in good condition. Everything seemed to be OK until this afternoon. It was on my desk at work plugged into my computer. I wasn't even doing anything with the phone, I wasn't even touching it and it died. It is completely dead, it won't do anything. I thought it might be the battery so I swapped the battery for my brand new and fully charged spare. Nothing. Plugged it into a charger instead of the computer. Nothing. The seller did offer a 30 day guarantee which was nice. The phone lasted about 2 1/2 months. Now I have to go shopping for a phone, again.

Great device and amazing features
I have had this phone for about a month now and am truly satisfied. The overall feel and slim body design feels amazing in my hands. The first things that stood out to me were the subtle curve of the screen and how light the phone is. The screen resolution is fantastic and the colors are very vivid and vibrant. The operating system skin that LG utilizes is very user friendly and feel very open. You can switch between app easily and there is no lag. The camera is great! The manual mode on the camera can be overwhelming but for photo enthusiast it is an amazing tool. The battery life is adequate for moderate user that spends all day on the phone checking social media and playing games in occasionally. The sound quality is the only area that I think missed the spot but still good. Overall, the phone is great from the design to the responsiveness of the operating system.

Best phone I've ever had...
But be aware that Google has a 'kill switch' just like Apple. If you purchase a used Android device, DO NOT do a factory reset! You will be required to have the original Gmail account that was synced to the device. Without it, the phone can only be reset by LG. Even Google can't or won't unlock the phone. The LG G4 has a great display. 6 Core processor, plenty of RAM and storage. Front and rear cameras take great pics. The G4 can over heat if you use it for a long time, but with some adjustments, this isn't a really big issue.
