This cap Does Not fit the RY40051 40v pole saw. The cap is too large in diameter for the tank. Plus they want to charge $5.98 for a UPS drop off in order to return for the refund. Do no buy from this seller

Not for 40 volt pole saw.
About this to fit a Ryobi 40 volt pole saw it was the wrong size and would not fit over the threads. When I attempted to return it Amazon says it will cost me $5.97 just to return it. Do not buy this. It will not fit a 40 volt pole saw.
