Sparrow Insulated Water Bottle W/Straw -Metal Water Bottles-500ml&750ml&1L

I have NEVER been someone to cart around a bottle for water. That said, I have found myself getting very thirsty on a walk and really wanting some water. I have plenty of plastic water bottles for my bike, but these aren’t really designed to stuff in a rucksack. So to this little beauty, the offer of two types of tops is excellent. I am still struggling with the notion of not tipping the bottle to drink, it has to stay vertical due to straw draw system. The flip top for the mouth is ingenious, but also a little puzzle to start with…how do I open it? I think both these are just a matter of my lack of experience with this type of bottle. The two biggest draws to this bottle are the wide opening, allowing lemon or ice to be dropped into the main body. The twin wall means the water does stay cold long enough for me to empty it. The size is in that sweet spot, not too big to become cumbersome, not so small to be a few gulps and gone. The neoprene type cover is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I do wish the straps were detachable or easily clipped onto a rucksack system. All that said….look at the price and consider what you get and actually what you need. I need a leak free bottle to hold enough water to quench my thirst on walks. That is kind of it. All the rest is icing on the top. The stopper top is actually very pretty to look at, though I doubt I will use it unless something thick is in the bottle….I can’t see that, I have a thermos and a soup thermos for thicker stuff. I love it is not plastic, it can be thoroughly cleaned. I wish I had the straw cleaner that other models have, but I did get two straws and they are well made, not flimsy at all. Some things I totally regret buying on Amazon, but not this. Robust, well made and very good value for money.

I am so impressed with this bottle! I bought it on a whim as I wanted a bottle with fast delivery, but I am SO fussy about my water bottles. I am really picky about how easy they are to keep clean, and I can’t stand most water bottles for their hidden creases etc. But this one? Perfect. It is a beautiful pastel pink colour, very high quality and comes with really nice extras. The bag in particular is very useful for walks and also very good quality. It is durable and leakproof (has already been dropped onto a concrete pavement 😭 but no paint chipped of!!) It is also a really good size for my smaller hands and feels a good weight. Honestly? I would really recommend this bottle. It’s such a good price too (I bought it on offer). Because I am funny with lids, I haven’t tried the straw lid yet.

Great and doesn’t leak !! It also has been keeping my drinks really cold all day even in this heat . Love the snug cover it comes with , with the strap that’s long enough to carry over your shoulder . Very easy to clean and I’ve had a few people asking where I got it . Very pleased with this purchase

I moved to the Super Sparrow after using an Iglu bottle, which was excellent but apparently is no longer available. The Super Sparrow is very good overall, although I initially had a strange teething problem with it. I had to suck extremely hard to get any drink through the spout and straw. After asking AI, I learned that this can be a common issue. I solved it by turning the straw so that the angled end was positioned at the bottom of the bottle. I had not noticed this detail before. It is also important to make sure the straw is pushed fully into the lid. Once I did both of these things, it worked perfectly. The bottle seems to keep drinks cold all day when used with ice. The main difference, which I initially found slightly annoying, is that the lid screws down inside the bottle rather than fitting over the outside. This means you should not fill the bottle right to the top, as the lid will displace the liquid and cause it to overflow. However, this design may actually be beneficial because it could help insulate the contents when the bottle is lying on its side. My Iglu bottle seemed to lose a lot of its insulation when it was not kept upright. Recommended so long as it lasts.

Fantastic product. It is exactly as advertised. I tested it for both hot and cold liquids, and I can say the hot drink stays boiling hot for at least 10 hrs (be careful) and after 24 hrs it is just tepid but still warmer than room temperature. For the cold drinks with a couple of ice cubes, after 6 hours it still have the semi melted ice cubes, they totally melted two hours later but the water stayed very cold for at least 12 hrs. No odor or taste in the liquid like other brands, the seal is perfect and I noticed no leaking, I kept it in my laptop bag walking around the city for many hours. I didn't use the supplied bag but I can see myself using it for outdoors purposes as it offers extra grip. I only used it and tested it with the stainless steel/ wooden cap so results may vary with the plastic one with the straw. I really like the colour and appearance and I got gifted also the 500ml orange one and my partner got a 625ml blue one. Highly recommended.

I am returning customer for these bottles i buy them every year for my 3 children for school and they last the entire school year saving me a fortune, the dont leak they dont brake and they are so well made and easy to clean. Love them and the carry bag was a nice addition to this years purchase

Really pleased with this. It feels solid. Water has been cold all day. Why buy a yeti when you can have this which is just as good if not better and a great price

Je n'ai pas essayé le chaud mais cette gourde garde bien au frais. 1 journée dans la voiture en plein soleil en été (eau fraiche avec glaçons dedans) et le soir elle était à peine tiède. Le bouchon "sport" est bien pratique car inutile de dévisser pour boire et il est bien étanche. Je n'ai pas encore beaucoup utilisé la pochette de transport mais ça reste très pratique pour se promener lorsqu'on a pas de sac sur soi. Très contente de mon achat

Recommandé sans hésitation après plusieurs semaines d'utilisation intensive. Je vais un peu copier-coller puisque j'ai commandé deux bouteilles (modèle avec et sans petit sac, 1L). Les deux sont identiques, si ce n'est que la version sac a un bouchon sans paille que je n'ai jamais utilisé, et un bouchon noir avec poignée fixe au lieu du bouchon coloré avec poignée mobile. Mais le système de paille est le même, et les bouteilles en elles-mêmes sont strictement identiques, j'ai d'ailleurs interverti les bouchons. L'isolation est excellente, en tout cas ça garde au frais un liquide de nombreuses heures sans problème. Je viens d'aller revérifier leur claim, "2h de froid", je pense que c'est 2h sans aucune hausse de température parce que ça reste frais 6-8h sans soucis. Je m'en sers pour du thé glacé en extérieur et je me suis jamais retrouvé à boire du thé tiède. La qualité de fabrication est également irréprochable, les couleurs sont fidèles aux photos (j'ai la bleue ciel et la bleue givre) et la peinture tient très bien. J'ai plus d'une fois pensé que j'allais les abîmer, mais non, ça tient. La paille fonctionne très bien aussi, encore heureux vous me direz... Autre avantage du système, comme toute gourde isotherme l'air intérieur se dilate et fini par être sous pression, mais là où ça peut "exploser" à l'ouverture, avec cette gourde il suffit d'ouvrir la paille pour libérer l'air via le petit trou qui permet l'aspiration. Ça rend aussi la gourde plus facile à ouvrir. Bref, si vous avez le budget et que le système vous branche pour moi il y a aucune hésitation à avoir.
