Clarks Originals Desert Boot Men’s Boots

I've had these for about two months now, and I'm very happy with them. I've worn them a fair amount, probably twice a week. They do mark easily but the beeswax quickly works its way around and for the most part you can't see the marks anymore. The colour is a deep, even brown. The picture is pretty accurate. The fit is fine, perhaps just a little large. I wear UK11 normally and ordered UK11. I'm not sure if size 10 would be comfortable or not, but I never considered returning them. They took about a month to wear in, and gave me blisters on the back and sides of my ankle on the first few wears. To avoid this wear socks that will cover your ankle. Now they're worn in they're very comfortable. I've walked miles at a time in them with no troubles at all. To give you an idea of how versatile these boots are, I've worn them to a wedding, cycled 10 miles to work with footstraps, trekked miles through scrubby underbrush, soaked them in beer on nights out and got them wet boating down an underground river. They've been a good choice for all these activities and whatever battering they've taken in the process has only added to their character. They still look and feel great.

Bought for my 16 year old son who already has a pair of black desert boots from a different manufacturer as cheaper. These were actually cheaper than Clarks's normal going rate so excellent value ,arrived quickly . Big difference in the quality , look better quality suede and stitching and more importantly have a better foot shape (not as pointed at toe) so improved look and more comfortable .

The quality of the shoes is as expected but its a little bit too big, it doesn't fit perfectly as the ones I have in the same size.

These things feel like slippers. I am very happy with my purchase. I had my eye on these for quite a while. I just can't get my head around the Ivory coloured soles on black boots the sides are black though, they do eventually stain and darken with wear.

I've worn these Desert Boots since the '80's and In my experience they never change. Great fit, comfort and durability along with iconic style. Perfect.

As nice as they are I wouldn't recommend walking in them for a long time. The thin sole at the front did hurt my feet after awhile. That being said they do look nice

Nothing looks worse than someone wearing tennis shoes in a suit, and now that there is snow on the ground the snow boots are replacing the Nike’s. STOP IT! Buy these boots if you need a comfortable, supportive, durable daily commuter this winter. The best part of these chukka boot is that for the price you are getting a high quality shoe that looks great and are extremely comfortable! If you can’t tell, I’m a shoe snob. Even though these shoes should not replace a nice dress shoe with a suit, they are the best option for someone who is looking for a good beater shoe for this winter. Or if you are on a budget and you need a dress shoe these boots would do! However, I recommend you look at Clark’s Oxford shoes first, for a more professional look in a suit. As a side note, I’ve been wearing these boots for awhile and you would be surprised how many compliments I get from them! They also look good with jeans. I’ve even wore them on a short hike! Yeah they are dressy shoe but for the price you don’t feel bad getting them dirty, which is great!

Worth every dollar .... I bought a half size down my regular size n it fits perfectly.... to top it off it’s the Original Clark’s .... I give it a 10/10

I do not recommend this vendor; the shoes did not fit my size, then I wanted to returned but they don’t want to return import fee which is around fifty dollars. That is outrages, since I wanted to buy from them smaller size. But with this ripoff would no buy from them. I do not recommend at all this vendor
