Alloyman Roof Gutter Cleaning from The Ground,40V Cordless Leaf Blowers

Ordered yesterday, received today. Took 5 minutes to put together. The 2 batteries were fully charged. By 9am this morning I was using it to clear my gutters. I am very impressed by the quality. The extensions fit together perfectly—they screw tight. The power is excellent. It’s light enough for my 83 year old arms to hold it up to the gutters. I’m very impressed. Who gets a spare battery any more?

Worked well for slightly over a month, then suddenly stopped working. Unfortunately, I missed the return window and had to contact the manufacturer for support. To their credit, the supplier did try to work with me to resolve the issue, but communication was extremely slow. Since they are based in China, I decided to be patient. Eventually, they agreed that the machine most likely had an electrical fault and promised to send a replacement. That was a few weeks ago, and no replacement has been sent. I contacted the supplier again, but there has still been no response. At this point, it seems I may have lost my money on this product. Please be aware if you decide to purchase this item. Make sure to test and use it regularly within the return period. Otherwise, you may end up facing the same problem I did. My loss, unfortunately.

Definitely better than climbing up the roof. It’s light but not too heavy. It is sturdy at maximum height. I’ve used it soon as I got it. Went through both the battery packs. The gutter cleaning went easy. This morning it was wet out side. Yes, it does blow the wet leaves. Battery life and power was excellent for the value. It was easy to assemble. Noise level was quiet enough. I didn’t hesitate to buy this because I needed to get the job done with out climbing the roof and rush falling off. I used my 6ft ladder to reach my second floor from ground level.

Probably works best if your gutters have a stainless steel or aluminum strainer, and might not work optimally at right angle gutter junctions. The blowing force of the apparatus seems adequate, as does battery-life and rigidity of the assembly of parts. Much easier to use than a gutter brush (which can be used on an upper leval, albeit with difficulty). Much less cumbrous than plastic extrension assemblies for blowers. Four stars, because this is an initial-use evaluation.

Both my husband and I use the blower and love it. We never had a blower before and we have found multiple uses for it besides cleaning the gutters. Our first use was for the gutters, which was why we bought it. It cleaned away the leaves and debris fairly well. We live in a one-story ranch house, so the blower could reach the gutters without using a ladder. My husband used it for cleaning off grass off of the riding lawn mower after running it. It has been great without the extensions for general cleaning up. I used it to clean leaves and dirt off of the deck. My husband used it for clearing the driveway. I have found that the blower is light and easy to use. Its size isn’t overwhelming and it’s not noisy. It is easy to put together, disassemble , and store. We are very happy with this blower.

I really wanted this product to be great. It just wasn't. Turns out, if it's cheaper- there's a reason. It provides fairly decent power for the battery size, I liked the compact nature of the product (being able to break it down into a reasonable space), and it seemed responsive enough. But that's where the compliments end. For starters, one of the extension rods simply didn't work. DOA. For transparency, through the Amazon network (maze) of getting through to the seller, after a few weeks of correspondence they offered to refund back some of my money. Not bad. I really just wanted a replacement extension rod, that was a no-go. Not impressive, but not horrendous. Then, one of the units completely went off the rails (I bought two). Randomly, when turned on at any speed, it goes straight to it's highest speed (and sound) for a few seconds before the whole unit shuts off. Utterly useless. This is after just a few months of use. I'm beyond my return window and there's no warranty (or I didn't opt in, can't remember if there is one). After all this, I'm way more likely to go with a known brand and some accessories that fit it (like DeWalt or Milwaukee) than pay half price and, you know, get what I paid for. 2 units, both went sour. Wish they would've worked the way I wanted them to. Or... at all with any longevity.

I bought this last fall and just used it again to blow out the tree flowers which are falling now. This is a great blower which really is only made for gutters. You can not use the extensions and use it for a normal blower if you don't have one of those. If you have all of the extensions on it, you will need to use the strap and also have some decent arm strength. The blower is very strong and clears the gutters well. Just beware if you are blowing out leaves and debri and there is water present, it can make another mess for you to clean up. I have an attachment that is supposed to do the same thing with water, but I find this to be much easier and quicker than the water method. Just make sure you keep the batteries charged. I did a 1300 sq. ft. house single story perimeter with a single battery and it still had power to spare. Comes with 2 batteries and a goofy corded charger that seams cheap, but it works fine. For the price, you cannot beat it. It will get your gutters up to about 10-11 feet without a ladder depending how tall you are.

Unfortunately I was not happy with this leaf blower. Overall it is quite heavy and the it's very hard to remove the battery. It is very powerful, I'll give it that. But, that power comes from a small plastic fan which is held in there in a plastic casting and after only 6 MONTHS, some of the fan blades broke as well as the plastic casing - thus leaving this leaf blower completely USELESS. You have to be very careful not to let anything (leaves, sticks, rocks, etc) get sucked into the intake blower. They should have put a screen of some sort to prevent this from happening.
