Very nice indeed, a real statement watch. Comes very well presented in an aluminium case and it is a bit of a looker. Big face as per current fashion, and a really nice rubber strap, they blend together very well indeed and do attract the eye. No instructions so a trip to the internet will be required. Well worth looking at the photos on Amazon as this is a very attractive watch and, very much, a “blokes” watch.Classy.

This watch is brilliant.First it comes in a metal presentation box which looks rather impressive from the outset which comes inside a branded yamaha box. This makes it perfect for gift giving from the start.The watch itself is super chunky and looks impressive for it. The thick strap and wide face looks really manly. Perfect for my Dad who has big hands and wrists (maybe not so much for someone like my husband who is more slight in build - I reckon it'd look a bit weird on him).

If you want a big, striking looking watch this is the one for you. Though the Product Specs correctly say the dial is 46mm, add the crown and it makes the watch 51mm wide, that's B-I-G. The box it comes in is equally big, styled like those aluminium cases that photographers use (and could be used to keep your manly type stuff in).For some reason my watch had no instructions, a check with the TW Steel website confirms that the crown is used for setting. It has be unwound anticlockwise (when the second hand is at 60) to two positions to set the time and date. The two push buttons either side of the crown control the tachymeter option, push the top one to start and the bottom one to reset it to zero. The dial looks busy but I think it works because it doesn't use numerals which, on other watches, often get overpowered with numerals on their outer chronograph bezel. There is no large second hand, instead the small dial on the right is for seconds and it unfortunately has a blue hand, not very readable in dim light and it's partially obscured by the minute and hour hands when they are around the three position. The thick rubber strap is in keeping with the chunkiness of the watch.The TW Steel website says the watch has a OS21/6H (chrono) Miyota movement, the Miyota website says this uses a battery and it has a three year life. Having to buy and replace the battery every thirty-six months might be important to you regarding a purchasing decision..Though I think the watch is rather pricey it certainly looks the part if you want something substantial on your wrist (and don't forget the cool aluminium box it came in).

This is without doubt a mans watch which is meant to be big and showy.It comes in a Steel/Metal case just to underline the masculinity of it and the watch face is huge.For me it was too big, too flashy and showy but my husband really likes it and wears it daily. It's very accurate as you would expect for a watch of this price and make. The strap is very good quality and my husband says it is really comfortable to wear.The only issue we had was in winding the watch up initially which seemed a fiddly process until we worked out what to do. Eventually we realised there was an enclosed booklet which would have explained this and saved us ten minutes of bewilderment...our problem.

Nice watch great value looked at other sites prices were extortionet. Very pleased. Graeme.
