We needed a new thermostat and this one was perfect. It was easy to change out and does the job.

like new product. Works as advertised
Quick shipment with prime. Product was as advertised in description. Excellent pricing as compared to new. Almost 50% less and it was hard to tell it it was ever used. Just looked like open box. With manual thermostat is easy to program however I needed to call an HVAC friend to help point me in the right direction.

I had this same thermostat installed in my new home 3 years ago and it started sending intermittent signals to my furnace. I replaced it with the same model. Time will tell if this one fails. Fingers crossed.

Read the instructions. Be sure to "program" to your specific type of HVAC. Very versatile.

It didn’t last but 6 months
I bought this in July, it lasted 6 months, this is my second one that I bought in 2 years. I spoke to my HVAC guy and he said to buy a higher end thermostat. I did, and I now wish I’d done it before.

Works well, with effort
This does what it says. Read the whole list of setup options and install yourself with confidence. I bought for the AUTO mode. This is not a default mode. You have to configure it through the menus. Set a heat temp separately. Permanent hold Set a cool temp separately. Permanent hold Set to ATUO mode, and it will switch between modes as you go over/under your set temps by a degree or two. has two mounting options, I used the bigger plate as I was installing in place of a larger older unit. Once setup, walk away and forget it!
