Electric Pole Saw, Corded, 8-Amp, 10-Inch with 14-Foot Reach (CP0810)

So I bought this to use on my palm from and it didn't disappoint! Cut like butter so I moved on to my evergreen that cut even easier up to about 3". Wife said cut that dead apple branch laying the yard. 4"-6" and no issues. Check the oul after quite a bit of use and it hardly used much oil. Wife said get that main stump that had the bees so I went at it cutting sections off this 1.5 ft apple base. No problem. Great little saw. Kinda heavy and awkward until you get used to it. I didn't like the safety trigger and still haven't really figured it out but hey this thing has plenty of power. I bought a set of replacement chains and the dewalt oil as well. Very happy with this purchase.

The power "trigger" only worked some of the time. Most of the time, however, it felt like it got stuck and would not go all the way to the activation point. I've used a Black and Decker pole saw with a similar trigger configuration for years and with no issues. This defect makes the the saw not only frustrating to use but also dangerous. The pole felt like it was good and sturdy as did the cutting head. But if the trigger is junk, well, so is the rest of it if it can't be used. High hopes were dashed.

I am impressed with the quality and performance of this product. I have used it number of times and it works very well. Just keep the chain lubrication tank full. Cuts cleanly.

My new CP0810 arrived on time and undamaged in the manufacturers packaging. Unpacking and assembly was easy. It's heavier than I expected (nbd). The unpacking instructions are a riot: "With the help of a friend or trustworthy foe, such as one of your in-laws, carefully remove...". From reading other reviews I assumed it would come with chain oil. IT DOES NOT COME WITH CHAIN OIL and the reservoir is dry (as expected for shipping). You will need to fill the reservoir with appropriate chain oil before using. Somehow I missed that part. Looks like it should work fine, but I won't know until the oil gets here. Hopefully I will remember to update the review after I use it a bit.

Scary powerful. A little unwieldy when extended so not for weaklings. Does a great job and it's fast.

This is a great product. Cut trees thick and tall. Easy set up and use. Doesn't come with chain oil that you need to use it. So order a bottle

Used once. This product does not work well. The chain keeps coming off and the chain tensioner is pretty much useless. I thought I had more time. I would have returned it. Now stuck with it. 5 mins cutting and 20 mins putting the chain back on 4 times.

Best Customer Support EVER!!! I had two follow-up calls with the U.S. based customer service. Amazing! Chainsaw bar got bent during use. Likely user error. They replaced parts without question. Product Review: If you have an electrical outlet nearby and a large gauge extension cord this saw is amazing. However, most of the weight is out at the saw end and it becomes heavy and tiring to use.
