Happy memories listening to their songs again!
I'd been looking to buy this cd for I can't remember how long! I am so happy I eventually decided to get it! I love it - such memories of listening to their songs on the radio.... The depth of hearing their instruments, and these songs again - happy times!

An Embarrassment of Tuneful Musical Riches !
It is very difficult to find fault with this magnificent 2 x CD set from ELO.So many hits and great songs where melody reigns and the tunes are played superbly and produced impeccably. There are a total of 38 songs spread equally between the 2 CDs and most of the songs are classics.The music of ELO always appealed to the general music loving public because their songs were/are so infectious and melodic and essentially unpretentious . It is so difficult to choose favourites here but some of my personal choices would include 'Evil Woman' , 'Twilight' ,'Turn to Stone' ,'All Over The World' , 'Ticket To The Moon' ,'Wild West Hero','Sweet Talkin' Woman', 'Telephone Line' , 'Mr Blue Sky' ,'Nightrider' , '10538 Overture' , 'Livin' Thing' ,'The Diary of Horace Wimp' , 'Showdown' and also 'Xanadu' featuring vocals from Olivia Newton John.There are many other fine songs in addition to those that I have listed ! In short ,this is one of the strongest 'best of' sets that I can think of. Take a trip down memory lane where songs generally had to be special to stand out and become successful .You won't be disappointed !

Finalmente la raccolta completa dei brani migliori di una Band che negli anni 70 inizio 80 fece sfracelli, come vendite, suono proposto. Ricordo quegli anni in cui, ogni loro uscita era una novità sempre all'avanguardia. Gruppo in seguito sottovalutato, ma che a distanza di piu di 40 anni è sempre piacevole riascoltare, ancora con un sound attuale! Grandi successi, quelli dagli Album Discovery e Xanadu i miei preferiti. Preferita questa compilation, rispetto alla simile intitolata Essential, per via del fatto che i brani non sono in ordine cronologico, pur essendoci tutti e per la copertina più bella. Consegna Amazon precisa e puntuale, anche se il 'case' anteriore in plastica è scheggiato. Prevedere miglior imballaggio contro gli urti. Nota successiva: essendo il case danneggiato in modo evidente ho richiesto reso ad Amazon, per la mia prima volta. Sono stato assistito da un operatore gentilissimo e molto professionale, grazie! Attendo di completare la procedura ma per ora sono soddisfatto della assistenza fornita!

OBRA MAESTRA
Sin duda alguna es el mejor recopilatorio de una banda que ha llevado la música a un nivel muy por encima de lo habitual, liderada por Jeff Lynne. Aquí hay 38 TEMAZOS que me han recordado que hubo un tiempo que hacer música era cosa muy seria y muy profesional que solo unos pocos tenían ese privilegio y ese don de hacerla, entre ellos la ELO. Así que lo único que me queda por decir es Gracias por todo lo que nos has dado y por vivir en un tiempo en pudimos disfrutar de joyas así. Amazon como siempre un 10 +1.
