Thanks for your question. These pumps have a 3 year warranty. A run and shut off is probably indicative that something is tripping the thermal sensor. Considering the age of the pump you may just need to replace the impeller. I recommend contacting the company you purchased this pump from and going through any troubleshooting they offer.
