Glass Tower Incense Stick Burner

I had a very dear blown glass incense burner that broke after many, many years; part of its charm was that it was vertical and easy to clean - so I went on a quest for another. Imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this beautiful product and was actually able to customize it with a “Tree of Life”. I was tempted by many colors but went with the cobalt blue and it is beautiful. The incense slides into a ring at the top and the instrument catches all ash. The scent billows from small holes at the base of the artwork and from the top. On a personal level, the seller took the time and contacted me about the product to give me a timeline and it came more quickly than anticipated and surpassed expectations :) Hopefully, this will survive our clumsiness at least as long as the old one and hopefully longer. The media could not be loaded.  When I had first come across this incense burner on Amazon, I was a few weeks away from moving out into my own apartment after living with a roommate for 2 years, and my ex for 13 years before that. Because it was such a monumental occasion for me, I decided I would treat myself to not only this beautiful glass incense burner, but get it with custom engraving, which is something I have never before done. I contacted the seller, Nick, to ask him if he would do a specific symbol that means a lot to me (note: the heart anarchy symbol, often used in the punk scene, has been adopted by folks like me who follow the theory of Relationship Anarchy) - not only was Nick agreeable to the request, but he was already familiar with the symbol and said it wouldn't be a problem at all. I was unable to place the order right away due to the transition of relocating, but as soon as I had moved into my new apartment, I went ahead and ordered the burner, making sure to contact Nick again so that he could connect my order to the custom engraving we had discussed. Nick was always professional and compassionate in his communication with me, and made sure to update me regularly throughout the process after I placed the order. He was also friendly and personable, and I ended up feeling more connected to him than one would expect from a typical buyer-seller transaction, particularly through a common interest in similar spiritual practices. When I received the burner, there was a sample pack of the high quality incense sticks Nick makes, as well as a thoughtful hand-written note on the packing slip that warmed my heart. The first stick of incense I burned was from the sample pack included with the burner, and the smoke from the stick billowed up and out in beautiful ways. I had no idea just how cool this piece would be when I bought it - I just thought it was pretty - but it quickly became a showcase piece in my home. It should be noted that commercial incense sticks do not have the same dramatic visual effect as Nick's sticks, but it still hold them well as they burn and eliminates the ashy mess. It should be noted that the smoke does come out the bottom as well, which can leave a resin residue on surfaces - while this should not be a deterrent for buying this AWESOME burner, I do recommend putting something under the burner (I am currently using a ceramic baking dish, but I'm hoping to get a wood platter for it eventually). My friends are in awe of this burner, and many of them have told me they want to get one, too. Frankly, I wish I had unlimited funds, because I would get one of these, custom engraved, for a lot of the people I care about. As for me, I will be ordering more of Nick's incense sticks, to pull out when I have guests over or when I am feeling in the mood for something cool and dramatic. It has been a month, and I am still just as happy with this purchase as I was when I received it. ALL THE STARS!!! BUY THIS!!!!

I love the look of it! The red adds just enough color in my living room to offset the gray. However the description doesn’t tell you to place lit side down, sometimes the incense will not burn all the way, there’s some kind of silicone like spots in each corner at the top that I have no idea what it’s for??? and the smoke does not come out the side holes of holder. But overall it’s beautiful piece, if it didn’t have the holes in side it’s make a really nice vase.... just a thought for seller. Also mine didn’t come with the tag as shown in picture... maybe that had instructions on it....Update: I figured out how to use this tower burner. There’s a key holder included that I had missed. So you insert end into key holder and rest the key holder on the silicone like pieces at neck of bottle. Works great. However, smoke still doesn’t come out side holes.

The piece itself is unique and very pretty, with a simple yet ingenious design using the stack/chimney effect to keep the incense alight. The incense that came with, and the extra I ordered, have a fantastic variety of pleasing scents, and are very thick on the stick; long lasting.I have to take a star off because I had an issue with the packaging method. The tape used to secure the bubble wrap to the piece took off 2 chunks of the cobalt blue coating when I removed it, despite trying to slowly pull it off. I filled it in with a blue sharpie, and you can hardly notice the change.

This is fabulous looking and functioning! The customer service is personable and the company is so generous; they sent me a bunch of free samples of their incense. The handwritten thank you from Nick was a lovely touch for a softy like me. The price is incredible for all that I received and for such a modern and chic design. I’m a new loyal customer.

I contacted the owner and he ignored me even though I suggested a solution.With the tower you get 2 metal rings to place the stick in. Then you place the stick in the tower using the ring as an anchor on top. There is nothing to hold the incense stick in the middle of the tower. It immediately swings to one side or the other and quickly goes out because of it's contact with the glass wall. I have tried many things but none have worked. I called the owner and explained the problem and even suggested a possible solution but he didn't really care. He didn't even care that his own incense didn't burn to completion.Too late for me to return but not too late for you to not order this.

I originally considered ordering this burner because it stated there would be no ash mess. The more I looked into the product, it quickly became something I needed to have. I ended up ordering two for sentimental reasons, but I absolutely love them and the designs. I think they are beautiful and are of great quality. I will be getting some as gifts for family and I only hope they enjoy this product as much as I do. I also appreciated that the seller sent a message saying thank you and included some samples (which smell fantastic) along with the burners. The burner themselves are easy to use and there is no ash mess to clean up! I would definitely recommend buying this product!!
