Still good white emulsion for a good price
Interesting comparing this to an old tin which was from the days when ICI owned Dulux. Excellent paint that lasted so well that I used it for my first coat.Used the new tin for the second coat. It went on fine but seemed a bit yellow going on but dried to a nice white.The difference: had I had enough of the original, I would have only needed 2 coats. With the new version, I needed 3.The new version gives a very pleasing white finish, but...it is not as white a white (if that makes sense) as the original. After saying that, I really like the very slightly off white of the new version. If I hadn't had the original to compare, I would never have noticed any shade issue.So, still good paint, maybe not quite as good as the older ICI version, but still my choice for matt white emulsion.
