Franchement Sony nous a sorti le top du top en petit format ! Points positifs : _ Autonomie record _ Gorilla Glass 5, l'écran est très résistant _ Led de notification _ Hauts parleurs stéréos, le son est vraiment puissant et très bon _ Fluidité hors norme avec le snapdragon 835 _ Format compact (ras le bol des frigos mais apparemment c'est la " normalité " maintenant) _ Photo et vidéo d'excellente qualité Points négatifs : _ Le flash n'est pas très puissant _ Les applis de Sony (qu'on peut désinstaller donc subjectif) Bref, un excellent smartphone ! Par contre quant au vendeur je ne recommande pas du tout, prenez plutôt expédié par Amazon !

Used Sony Xperia phones for the last 6 years. Can't fault them, great specs, zippy and with great camaras for half the price of a standard high end phone. This has convinced me to stick with the smaller handsets from now on. Only negative is no wireless charging.

Dopo 1 mese e mezzo di utitlizzo posso affermare che XZ1 Compact è uno smartphone abbastanza completo e che fa dell'ergonomia e dell'autonomia i suoi punti cardine. Come pannello LCD si trova un po' sotto al predecessore X Compact (che risulta quasi stampato) ma rimane comunque un pannello molto godibile e con colori naturali. Come capacità di archiviazione arriviamo al secondo difetto di questo smartphone. 32 GB (nonostante l'espansione fino a 200 GB tramite SD) sono pochi e mi è dispiaciuto che non abbiano messo gli stessi 64 GB di XZ1. Tolti questi due punti ci si ritrova una fotocamera da top di gamma che eccelle lato video anche grazie al super slowmotion a 960 fps. L'hw è da primo della classe e non rallenta mai (ho la memoria piena da un mese senza SD) ed è veloce come il primo giorno grazie allo snapdragon 835 e i 4 GB di RAM. L'autonomia è sempre una questione soggettiva ma con praticamente ogni utilizzo che esentata l'utilizzo prolungato di giochi pesanti si arriva a sera. L'ergonomia come detto è al top. Piccolo e maneggevole. Si usa bene con una mano.

Beim Griff zum XZ1 Compact hat mich der Gedanke geleitet, mal wieder ein kleineres Handy zu haben, welches dennoch Leistung zumindest ähnlich der Großen bietet. Zudem wollte ich neben einer guten Kamera auch gleich Android 8.0 draufhaben und eine Akkukapazität, die mich das Gerät nicht mehrmals am Tag laden lässt. Alle diese Wünsche hat mir das XZ1 Compact mit Bravour erfüllt. Gerade der Akku, der mehrere Tage durchhält, ist ein absoluter Profaktor. Die High-End Geräte mit 6 Zoll Display und 4 K gehen ja bald nach einem halben Tag Vielnutzung in die Knie. Das Sony hält bei richtig starker Nutzung immer noch anderthalb Tage durch, bei mittlerer Nutzung oder im Stamina-Modus nochmal deutlich länger. Das 5,1‘‘ Display mag zwar „nur“ mit 720 x 1280 auflösen, bietet aber auf der verfügbaren Größe ein scharfes Bild an, das überzeugen kann. Neben dem Akku überzeugt mich auch die Geschwindigkeit des Snapdragon 835 Prozessors mit den anliegenden 4 GB RAM. Für meinen Geschmack ist der sogar gefühlt schneller unterwegs als mancher Flaggschiff-Prozessor, evtl. weil halt weniger berechnet werden muss bei geringerer Auflösung etc. Jedenfalls starten alle Anwendungen sehr schnell und beim Wischen treten so gut wie keine Ruckler auf. Läuft also sehr rund. Neben Android 8, das einen angenehmen, aufgeräumten Eindruck macht und mittlerweile absolut rund läuft, ist das XZ1 Compact auch bei den Anschlüssen up to date und bietet USB-C. Einstecken und passt immer. Kein Umdrehen des USB Kabels mehr. Halleluja! Wo man sich bei Sony dran gewöhnen muss – besonders, wenn man von einer anderen Marke kommt – ist, dass keine Hardware-Keys auf der Vorderseite des Smartphones zu finden sind. Die Tasten für Zurück, Home und Anwendungen sind Software-Keys ganz unten am Touchscreen, was natürlich etwas Display beansprucht. Anfangs sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, nun komme ich damit klar, auch wenn sie mich nicht ganz überzeugen können. Insgesamt könnte auch der Touchscreen an den Rändern noch etwas sensitiver sein, hier wird nicht jede Berührung hundertprozentig erfasst. Die eckige Form des Smartphones muss man mögen. Ansonsten ist das Sony nichts für einen. Die Verarbeitung ist generell gut; allerdings in dieser Preisklasse zu erwartend viel einfacher Kunststoff. Dieser wird oben und unten von einer Metallleiste abgerundet, welche aber sehr empfindlich ist. Meine hat nach kurzer Zeit schon einige Macken angesammelt. Evtl wäre auch hier eine Hülle sinnvoller gewesen, aber das passte leider nicht zu meinem Ziel, ein möglichst kompaktes Handy zu haben. Nach alledem gebe ich dem XZ1 Compact ganz knappe fünf Sterne (1- in Schulnoten). Die Leistung hat mich sehr positiv überrascht, nunmehr ist auch der Preis recht angemessen (für die früheren 500 wäre keine fünf Sterne mehr drin gewesen!), lediglich die Materialauswahl vom Kunststoff und Metall könnte etwas hochwertiger sein und der seitlich (für den kleinen Finger) angebrachte Fingerabdrucksensor sowie der Touchscreen am Rand noch etwas präziser funktionieren. Vielleicht dann beim XZ2…

The phone was in great condition on arrival. Minor signs of use, exactly as described. The phone itself is also excellent, and I'm pleased to have got it for the price. My only grumble is the battery life, which is not great. My last phone was an Oukitel K10000. For those who don't know, it's a beast built entirely around a massive battery, designed mainly for stamina. I am a heavy user, in that I typically stream music or the radio through my phone all day every day at work. My last phone always lasted the full day. This phone dies early afternoon, so must be recharged. I don't know if this is a second hand battery issue that I could fix, or just the way of world. I chose this phone deliberately sacrificing stamina for smaller scale, so I can live with the tradeoff, but it is a tradeoff.
