Accurate jalepeno flavor
Fairly high priced, but adds true jalepeno flavor and heat to home canned items. You can’t trust jalepeno peppers to always be hot these days. This serves as a backup when they are not.

I use in margaritas. It is strong so you only need a little.

Great for what I needed
This was perfect for making the strawberry jalapeño margaritas I wanted to make. I got the pump with it so there was no need to measure. Added the perfect amount of flavor. One pump for a hint of jalapeño flavor, 2 pumps if you want it a little spicier.

This is a great product. This bottle of Monin Jalapeno Flavor Concentrate was leaking sticky syrup from its packaging upon arrival so we trashed it not knowing if it was fit for consumption. Amazon blocked our attempt to return it and blocked our initial attempt to review it. No fault to the product itself, however.

Do not buy this. Just no.
Don’t discount the reviews that say that this product smells like burning tires, this product really does actually smell like burning tires. I’m hesitant to use it in anything, I did taste it and it tasted like spicy burning tires with a thick vaseline and glycerin finish. It’s true that it is not sweet, it is also true that it tastes like you’re drinking a petroleum-based ointment. I like their other syrups so I gave it the benefit of the doubt but please, don’t make that mistake. I’m sorry I have to leave this review, I usually don’t leave any bad reviews, I spend my time trying to be positive, but this level of disgust really needs to be documented. I waited a few days to see if I’d still feel this strongly and I do. Totally grossed me out.
