we had to return it . The customer service was not only not helpful, they were a bit deceptive in their response. It doesn't open to a full 90 degree angle at the back so it's impossible to get full rain coverage at the back of the truck where the kitchen slider is.

Pretty cool, one person install and set up
This took FOREVER to arrive. I was losing hope I'd ever get it. But I have it now and installed it on an Xterra, which I don't necessarily recommend (the largest size at least is a bit too long and not well balanced for an Xterra roof rack, and the included hardware, while excellent, isn't everything you need) I was able to set it up in about 10 minutes, would have spent another 15 staking it down with the included cord if I was camping, and then broke it down pretty quick too. The canvas material is thick and provides great coverage. The very last bit of zipper was difficult to close, probably because wrapping up all that canvas by myself wasn't done quite right. I could do without the gibberish name brand on the side of the case, but overall this is a pretty good and functional rig.

I like this awning a lot
As long as you don't need this item same or anytime I the near future this is an almost perfect purchase. The pice is much less than most large awnings available and it is pretty much the same quality. I have 4 overland vehicles and they all have awnings of some kind. This unit is nice and large perfect for the e350, excursion and other full-size van, that is what i have it installed on. It is easy to assemble, and although it protects you from the sun ,and rain the wind is your enemy. Anything over a sustained 15 mph I would suggest breaking this down and storing it back on the rack. Im sure it can handle more but it would be a waste of $500 if I 30-40 mph gust came out of nowhere to and the aluminum or rip the fabric. Now on to the first thing I said it took roughly 2 months for this to arrive. Im not sure if this was just a one time thing but regardless I would order it early in the project so you have it ready for any planned excursion. Overall a great item for the price.
