Use for low carb cooking
Changed to a low carb lifestyle about 6 years ago and ditched all sugar from my cupboards.Now when I do a bit of baking (not often) I use Xylitol but always use less than the recipes state anyway.It looks just like granulated sugar and can be made easily into caster or icing by using a coffee grinder for a few seconds.

Not from Birch...?
When we hear Xylitol, the first thing coming to our mind is "Birch sugar". That is where originally it is coming from. There are lots of negative propaganda against Birch xylitol since the invention of xylitol from corn cobs. From my research I understood that all those are UNTRUE. Birch Xylitol is still the number one in quality and from sustainable resources. This product Xylo Sweet taste good, no after taste, like any other xylitol. However this is not produced from Birch. The label simply says from plants. So it could be from any plants containing xylan fibre, mainly corncob. I personally prefer Xylitol from Birch. Hence only 3 stars.

Better than sugar.
I switched to Xylitol from sugar in my coffee years ago. I don’t get a sugar rush now. Love that there’s no aftertaste like so many other sweeteners.

Finer granules
This has finer grains then the prior brand i used which it much improved since Xylatol does not dissolve as easily as sugar. Taste is fine. They use a quality poly bag that recloses well.
