Worked like a charm!
I make my own perches for my birds and have always had trouble inserting the hanger bolts into the wood without stripping the machine threading. So glad I discovered this! I insert one end into my drill and the other ends onto the machine threading of the hanger bolt, and then I drill the bolt right into the wood. The bolt driver comes clean off the bolt when you reverse the drill. You just have to make sure you're getting the right size hanger bolt driver for the bolts you have(threading must match).

A good way to install hanger bolts
This little item threaded onto the bolt end of the hanger bolt and allowed me to use my impact driver to install the bolts. It was quick and there was no way to damage the threads. This item wouldn't work to remove the bolts though, if you needed to.I didn't know this tool existed, and it only does one thing, but it does it well.

This tool is durable and works as it should. The threaded portion of my hanger bolts is NOT damaged because of the design of this tool.

this tool works great!!!
I used to use vice grips to screw self-tapping screw hanger bolts into table legs, but this little guy makes it soooo easy with my impact driver. It seems to be made of tough steel, and I HIGHLY recommend this product.

Life Saver
I install hanger bolts into hardwood daily. I used to just drive the bolts in with a drill. This saves my drill chuck and works great.

Excellent, fits any standard drill.
Worked awesome for putting in hanger bolts. Slides onto the bolts easily and unwinds to remove after smoothly without undoing the bolt. Definitely easier than using two nuts to install these bolts.
