Adequate Support
I noticed foot pain that flared up gradually so I wanted to start with a home remedy before venturing to the podiatrist. I don't have a job where I am on my feet everyday, but I experienced the classic symptoms of plantar fasciitis. I would rate the product as good. I wore the wraps mainly at home after work since I don't have dress/work shoes that I can wear the wraps with comfortably. Over a week's time of wearing the supports for about three hours at a time and sometimes overnight, I noticed an improvement. The only minus is that the velcro wrap tends to come loose as I wore them. I would recommend if you don't have a severe case of foot pain issues.

Flimsy and No Help for Plantar Fasciitis
I read the review for this product and ordered it despite the lower rating comments. I wish I had listened. I'm not sure if the difference in reviews is due to the size of the product or what. I noticed several of the 5 star reviews purchased the large size, which is what is shown in the product image. I ordered a small.Packaging Quality - the product packaging was sad. It was a ziploc style bag with a black and white photocopy of a label in it. It was very dark and hard to read.Product Quality - oh where to start. The Velcro strap on the small size was only about a quarter-inch wide, significantly narrower than what is in the picture. The black edging seen in the picture is not actually edging material but is just stitching. The neoprene fabric is not like any I have seen. It is thin and flimsy with barely any tensile strength. Not much different than a sock really, just a different texture.Wear Test - I tried it on. The product provided no compression or support except for right where the Velcro went around the foot. The fabric on either side just kind of flopped down. It slid around and around my foot and would not stay put no matter how tightly I fastened it.Seller Quality - I requested a refund. I guess I should have looked at the returns policy beforehand, shame on me. They do state that they do not refund shipping charges and that you are responsible for the return shipping costs. I personally do not care for vendors who do this. They did respond promptly via email to my request with clear, concise instructions to return and were very polite. I returned the item and received a refund for the purchase price of the product. For plantar fasciitis sufferers, I highly recommend the Brown Medical Sol Step, Medium This is what I bought after I returned this arch support and it is awesome! You can read my full review of it on the product page.

One of the few things that worked for my plantar fasciitis
I am just getting over plantar fasciitis after having it for about 10 months. I went to two podiatrists, physical therapy, tried lots of orthotic inserts, lots of different shoes and more to get better. Nothing was helping me enough to get rid of it. I tried stretching with advice from doctor and physical therapy and that helped some but then actually started making it worse as I may have been pushing it too hard. The problem with all of the orthotic inserts I tried (I tried about 8 different ones) was that the heel in them was too high and that was where my pain was so that more pressure when I stepped was being put on my heel and that made my condition worse. In addition, some of the orthotic inserts were very hard as well so that they caused even more heel pain when pressure was put on the heel. Finally, I tried many different shoes but none of them helped me to get better.Anyway, I found that this arch support wrap was perfect because I could strap it exactly on my foot where I wanted it to support the arch but at the same time it doesn't raise the heel so that more pressure is being put on the arch and less on the heel. The wrap doesn't have a foam ball on the bottom or anything like that on it but I found that just the wrap itself with its thickness gave me the arch support I needed without causing me more pain in my heel. The velcro wrap is strong and you can adjust it to make it as tight or as loose as you want. I find it stays in place and I have no problem putting a shoe on over it. I even wear my summer sandals with it. I also wear it barefoot in the house. It works well if you have it on barefoot or if you put it over a sock.As a side note, I also bought the polygel arch wrap on amazon after I bought this one to try it and I also bought the strutz at a store (not on amazon). I like the polygel arch wrap as well and the strutz is ok as well. I just find myself gravitating back to this wrap I am reviewing here.I am a runner and every time I would try to go back to running, I would be in pain and would set my plantar fasciitis back. But now, I can run. To be on the safe side, when I run I actually use this arch wrap and the poly gel over it to get double support. I am not sure if this is needed but I want to play it safe so as to avoid a reocurrence of the plantar fasciitis.Another thing I would recommend is a night splint. I bought the Active Ankle Dns Dorsal Night Splint Small (men 5-10) on amazon and I found that this eliminated the first steps morning pain I used to have. This night splint works very well for me and I am still using it. It is comfortable to wear at night and stretches the foot well at night. However, the velcro is wearing out some and not sticking as well as it used to but it still works for me.One last thing I would say is that plantar fasciitis affects everyone differently and what works for me may not work for you. I found that going to the doctor and expecting him to fix me just didn't work. I had to try different things on my own and do my own research to get better. I'd recommend trying everything and see what works. Also, I found that returning to running too early or otherwise pushing the healing process or overdoing the stretching was counterproductive and would just set me back. Resting the foot and getting good arch support with this wrap were the key for me.

It was ok
I was so glad to get these but was disappointed as they did nothing for my food issues and hard to wear with shoes. What I do like about them is the ease of going on and the fact you get two. The construction of it was well done.I know it was a long shot but for me it did not work. I know some had luck with it but not me.Thanks and know for you it may work.

Helps, but still troublesome
I like the fact that I can adjust the amount of support and can be worn with or without shoes/sandles. I have found that the material causes skin irritation if stretched too tight. I also would have liked it a little wider to cover (cushion) more of the heel area. All in all, it is okay.

I don't like wearing it when I run
I tried these is a couple of times. It's ok. I don't like wearing it when I run, just because I don't like that bulky feeling in my shoe whenever I take a step. I can handle it walking around, but I'd rather wear a sock-type support. It does the job, but I prefer something else to ease the pain.

It's an ok product
This thing left my feet sore. It really arches your feet. It won't stay in place. Once you get over the pain it causes at the site the "bigger pain" does go away. Use at your own discretion.

This seems to work! It is not bulky under a shoe and gives me the support I need. Also, the price was right. Thank you.
