Five Little Pumpkins: A Rhyming Book for Kids and Toddlers

This is just the cutest book to read during the fall season with your little one! I find myself quoting the book to my baby without the book even present as it’s super catchy and a cute little story.

I bought his book for my 2 Granddaughters, ..ages almost 3 and 15 months and I absolutely love it!! It is very soft/hard covered and the pages are just as described for a board book. The color and pictures are amazing and go along so well with the Halloween theme,..not to mention counting the pumpkins with rhymes...so happy with this purchase.

Love it! Solid book. Easy for my 9 month old to turn pages and seems sturdy enough to last.This book is based off a children's nursery rhyme. I'm not sure if there is more then one version of the rhyme (there probably is) but it was a little different then what I grew up reciting. Instead of sayingThe third one said, "But I don't care".It saysThe third one said, "Good folks beware".Overall awesome book. The illustrations in it are really adorable. Full of fall colors purple, orange, deep reds. They're really what make this version stand out.Here's the rhyme this book uses.Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate;The first one said, "Oh my it's getting late".The second one said, "There are witches in the air".The third one said, "Good folks beware".The fourth one said, "I'm ready for some fun!"The fifth one said, "Let's run and run and run"."Wooooooo" went the wind,And out went the lights.And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

The rhyming is really fun and flows nicely. The illustrations are great. Our son asks to read this and can even fill in the blanks. Example: “Five little ____ sitting on a ____.” And he will say the words we left out. Our only complaint is that the font is black and the pages are dark. It makes it harder to read and to point the words out. Looking for more books by this author!

Exactly what I wanted and came in perfect condition. My children LOVE this book so much that this is their second copy. It's a fantastic early reader.

Nice little story for preschool

Disappointed. Very dark picture’s little writing and for the price there’s other books better out there.

Disappointed. Pictures are very dark and somewhat hard to make out although the story is good.
