Let me begin by saying that I find mustard just OK, generally, and I’m not typically a fan of spicy food. Having said that,I’ve eaten this mustard for many years, more years than I can count. The quality is fantastic and insurmountable. This is a mustard you could eat straight from the jar, it’s so freaking good. It has just the right amount of spice, the right amount of vinegar, it’s absolutely perfect. I use this on anything I want to put mustard on - from gourmet foods to hotdogs to eating it straight out of the jar. It’s just wonderful. I’ve never had a bad jar, either. The heavy stone crockery jars are very heavy & durable and you can easily reuse them afterward for other things. If you’re looking for a top worldwide mustard, one that will ruin you for any other mustard, you want this one.

This has to be the best mustard in the world (if you enjoy seedy mustard)! This mustard has been produced in France for hundreds of years using a very simple recipe. It is packed a in a small earthenware crock, that alone sells it! But beware, the original packaging had a cork top that was sealed with wax. Very unique! But to make it easier for our commercial friends, it now comes with a choice of a plastic fitted lid, or the original cork.I was kind of disappointed when I tried to open mine and realized it was plastic. The cork seems more authentic!But despite all that, this mustard is the best on the market!

Was very excited to try this mustard. I love different mustards. First was close to impossible to open jar. The taste was not like a mustard at all. Very sour with a strange after taste, Very sad and will not order again. Expiration date was 9.30/25 so it was not expired.

Yum. Knocked off one star for the seal, cause it's a really tough go: the red plastic lid does not want to release. But tough rocks, it's worth it.
