What is the amperage rating of this lug?

I don't know and couldn't find an amperage rating for these cable lugs. However, they are more than heavy enough to carry the amperage for any application that you would use 4/0 cable for. They are high quality cable lugs and not cheap junk. I have used them for everything from battery cables on my diesel Ford truck to cable ends on my 220V Lincoln welder without a single issue.

Are these copper lugs safe to use for 120v?

Yes. They are certified up to 600 Volts AC at 275 Degrees F.

what size is the opening to fit 2/0 awg wire. Chart says 11.7?? My cable meassures 15.2mm

Even if the chart say for 2/0 wire, I do not believe it can be use in that gane. I will use it in a #2 awg wire where it fits fine. Do not buy this item for a 2/0 wire.

I've got a one time use for these, is there a way to crimp them without a special tool? I hate to buy one and never use it again
