PRO-999 Rx-35 Wallpaper Primer and Sealer - Bonding Primer for Wallcoverings and Home Improvement, Water-based - 1 Gallon, Clear

I’ve always been intimidated to hang real wallpaper and have stuck to “peel and stick”, but using this was about a thousand times easier than peel and stick. It was forgiving to move the paper around, held well once dried and we are a few months in with no bubbles and no issues.

Easy to apply sizing and wallpaper adheres to product and stays once dried. After applying the sizing to the wall, let dry about 1-2 hours. It will be tacky after drying, then apply the wallpaper. Easy soap and water cleanup. No smell and covers a lot. I still have 3/4 gallon after papering my bathroom.

Applied to the wall following Sheetrock tearing caused by decals. The lustrous layer left by this substance required additional paint application after it dried.

My gallon bucket was missing the handle, the lid had marks where is had been opened and primer was dried in the cracks around the lid like it had been opened and used. The gallon was low about 4+ inches and the primer lacked the consistency that I knew it should have from previously using Roman primer. There was no damage to the box it came in and the can was packaged with other items. I used the primer, but I wondered if it had been watered down since it was very thin. I should have made the trip to the hardware store, paid a little more and I would have had a new product.

Sealed in my sanded wall and helped the wallpaper stick. Super easy to use.

I carefully removed tiles from the bathroom walls in order to not damage the drywall too much. This product worked to lay down torn drywall, and bound, and strengthen. I then followed with drywall compound on top. A little goes a long way.
