I absolutely love this hat!I have basal cell carcinoma on my face and this hat not only shades my whole face, but is really cute! It matches my “style” (I’ve been told my look is very bohemian/hippie like) and fits over my hair with my dreadlocks. Im also very petite, but it doesn’t look too big at all. The brim can be manipulated just about any way you’d like to wear it.Great hat! I would definitely recommend buying if you like full sun coverage for your face. It’s light weight, comfortable to wear and great if you like that funky, stylish, casual vibe. Im super pleased with this purchase!Side note: I will say that the fabric looks nothing like what is represented, it looks more of a linen/ cotton appearance; that being said, I still love it! Do not pay attention to the description as it doesn’t depict actual measurements of the hat. The brim is huge and nowhere close to 5”.The style is definitely a bohemian look (as stated before).I’m upset that they discontinued selling this one because I’ve lost my original, came back to order another only to find it’s no longer available (I’m guessing from how the picture looks and what you actually receive). Usually they will have somewhere on Amazon that shows the same thing (because many are the same sellers with different names and also stock photos); but there are no other hats like it on here. 😞

It seems that there are several styles for this listing. I am reviewing the style that has the chin tie that runs across the outside front. It comes in tan, blue, black and red and they have a black lining.I have very fair skin and burn easily. I love going to the beach and lake so I need lots of protection. I love the extra wide brim on this hat - 5.5 inches! The hat fit perfectly! I wore it yesterday for an all-day trip to the lake out on the boat. We spent quite a bit of time floating in the water and floating on the “lily pad”. Since the rim is wired, I was able to shape the brim to keep my face protected at all times. I also love the security of tying it under my chin - no worries about it flying off when the boat was goes fast. It dries nicely and is foldable.

I really wanted to love this but had to return. Medium is not one size fits all and I wish there was a L/XL option. I don’t even have a big head, just alot of hair and this one didn’t fit unfortunately. Fabric is good sun protection & the black & pink is cute though!

I love that it has such a wide brim. It is lightweight, so doesn’t add to the heat factor. It comes neatly folded flat. I did manage to straighten it out and shape satisfactorily, with a little effort. I never did achieve the perfect look of the pictured item. Nonetheless, I am very happy with the purchase. Would reccomend.

Looks absolutely nothing like the photo. As in, the photo shows a cute floppy black hat made of some woven fiber with an attractive texture, but what I got was just a very cheap looking plain black hat made of some slick shiny nylon-like fabric. It’s not what I ordered, really. It’s not something a person would wear anywhere other than right on the beach…I was looking for a beach hat that could be worn on the beach and also out to other occasions where sun protection is needed, but this won’t do at all for that. It looks cheap cheap cheap and wrinkly and crappy. It’s only saving grace is the wire in the brim…but I can see that’s there because otherwise this “hat” would hang like a thin floppy useless handkerchief. If I had seen this hat iRL absolutely no way would I have paid 20 bucks for it. I honestly wouldn’t pay 5 bucks for it. It looks like something from the dollar store. I’m headed to the beach tomorrow and it’s the only hat I have, so I guess I’m stuck with it, but otherwise it would immediately be sent back for a refund. The seller should change the photo to reflect what they’re actually selling, instead of using what I’m guessing is a stock photo of an actually attractive black sun hat just to sell this cheap nylon abomination. Be warned, if you pay 20 dollars for the black version you will be very disappointed if you’re expecting it to look like the photo or have any quality at all.

The hat is very foldable and fits as expected. The frame is not as large as pictured but still nice. Out of the package or out of suitcase, car, etc. It does not shape out. Always looks mishapen and crinkled (no matter the approach). I decided to use for gardening instead so it still works.

This hat came all folded up tiny and I thought it would be wrinkled and hideous but it just popped into shape. It’s huge and covers my hair and and chest if I don’t want to flip it up. Perfect for travel, the beach, I’m a teacher and wear it on playground duty at school. Great sun protection.

I absolutely luv this hat. It’s beautifully made, the wide brim bends any way you want. I’ve received many compliments and I’ve been asked where I bought it.I also luv the colour, and would buy another if you could make it in more colours like beige, black, or grey). I’ve seen many hats on Amazon, but they ruin them with patterns, please don’t do that. Keep it a simple solid neutral colour then it goes with anything you wear.Thank you for making this lovely hat!
