I had never heard of Putty before. The Occupational therapist that comes to see my 2yr old son recommended it. It's very helpful for my son with sensory and attention span struggles. The charms are very useful because it also helps my 3 yr old search for them inside the putty and has her sit for a while. The putty does not stick to the couch or clothes like slim, which is amazing! I also have my mom play with it because she has arthritis in her hands. When she uses it, it helps use those hand muscles.

As a pediatric OTA I would say this putty is hard resistance, not medium. That said, the kids love manipulating the putty to find the animals and it's a great workout for their little fingers!
