Very well made piston and cylinder kit for the price
Breathed new life into my old tired 1600 engine. Very well machined parts and came with cylinder, pistons, rings, wrist pins and set of wrist pin clips. Checked all the ring end gaps and none of them needed to be modified.

Great product
Great set of pistons, almost look like a set of forged cimas the way they have short skirts and no tell tale steel clips like cast piston sets have. Ran them on a class 11 motor with 12.5 to 1 compression with no issues.

Dont get excited to install until you see everything inside the box to instal
overall product was good. one sleeve had a fin broken off but wont hurt the function so i dont care. item came without the wrist pin clips so cant instal right away until i order some clips. thats why im giving a bad rating but even though im ok with the one fin product should come in new unbroken conditions.

These are high quality P&Cs! No issues with the manufacture, and they all balance perfectly out of the box. Can't beat the price compared to AA and Mahle

packing was terrible
The pistons and cylinders are great, all are within Volkswagen weight specification, at first I thought there wasn't any wrist pin clips, like I searched THOROUGHLY and had everything out of the box and couldn't find them. Then later during assembly I found them in the box, so be sure to search really well under all the box flaps for them!!. The BIGGEST issue I had and why this got four stars is because how these were shipped to me. They weren't packed well at all. The cylinder kit came in the original box with a single piece of tape holding it together. One drop and the set would've been ruined. I had to cradle the box for fear of the bottom falling apart, that's how badly they were packed. I would've given five stars if they were double boxed, but here we are.

Moresa Piston & Cylinders Kit for 1600cc Engine
What a great price for a complete set of pistons, piston pins and cylinders. I checked on TheSamba and Moresa is a recommended brand since they made the cylinders and pistons for the VW Beetles manufactured in Mexico. I plan on using this set to upgrade my 1300cc engine to 1600cc. This set was manufactured in 2019.
