Very comfortable and supports my neck. No more pain!

If you have ear cartilage that sticks out a bit and constantly have a sore ear when side sleeping and cannot get comfortable, this is THE pillow for you! I have spent so many years and tried so many different pillows. I saw this one advertised and saw the "ear hole" and realized this was just what I needed. The hole was about 2" higher than where my ear rested, plus a little small, so I took sharp-nose small scissors and kept snipping away until the hole was exactly where it needed to be, and now my head rests totally comfortably on the pillow. I also saw a review that the reviewer cut back the wings and stitched the case to fit the sides, which I also did and love it that way since it gives a perfect "ledge" for my arm. The pillow is now 1,000% perfect. Even during the 4 days I spent perfecting my alterations, I fell asleep almost immediately, unlike the 1, 2 and sometimes 3 hours I would spend 2-3 times a week with my old pillow trying to get comfortable (which I paid 3 times what I paid for this one). I also use the lower sleeping area since the other side was a bit too high in the neck area. Adding the body pillow I have which elevates my knee and puts my spine in better alignment, alleviating lower back pain, I am now getting a wonderful night's sleep and a very happy camper!

I just received my Cozyplayer pillow today and haven't had the chance to sleep on it yet, but my initial impressions are very positive. The pillow arrived quickly and the build quality immediately stands out. The contoured shape, breathable mesh insert, and separate curved bolster piece all feel well-constructed. It's clear thought went into the ergonomic design. As expected with memory foam products, there is a slight smell out of the box — but it was mild and dissipated quickly, which I appreciated. I'm currently following the manufacturer's recommended 24–72 hour expansion period, and it's already looking great shape-wise. I'm also impressed by the included user manual, which was clear and easy to follow, and the fact that it comes with a 5-year limited warranty — that's a strong confidence signal for a sleep product. I'll update this review once I've had time to actually sleep on it, but so far Cozyplayer has made a great first impression. If the sleep quality matches the build quality, this will be a 5-star all the way.

It helped my neck pain a lot up until about a month ago, and it lost its shape. It's now gone flatter than when I first purchased it almost 2yrs ago. Time for something else.

Love this pillow so much I bought a second one. Neck support is great and it thick enough for me. Which is what I like. My first has lasted over 2 years and still good.

***As close as I can find to my perfect solution*** after trying 5 different pillows similar to this general shape. My 35 yr old temperpedic memory foam pillow needed to be replaced. I've tried >10 pillows with a 2 being tolerable, and 7 being excruciating neck-breakers that after a week caused severe disabling pain throughout the days when I previously did not have any. I had no idea how unique that pillow was and it's take a loooong anything process to find another suitable pillow that will work. I hate feeling so specific and dependent on a pillow. I seem to be ok with whatever a few days, but more than that and my sleep quality, duration and discomfort the following days will suffer. So THIS (and only this) pillow absolutely DID alleviate my rotten cumulative neck pain. That said, it's unnecessarily annoying in other ways: •The arm wings are extraneous and offer nothing anotomically supportive. •The width of the pillow makes it difficult to squeeze into a pillow case which then compresses and this compromises the function of the foam. •The hight at the back could have been done with the width of a standard pillow case's dimensions in mind. •It's ugly. I really don't want to look at the goofy shape splat white and gray shape on my bed and I don't want to have to take the entire pillow off the bed to find a place for it away from the cat or dog when I make the bed reach and every morning. Considering aesthetics, it's a fail. _(And it just doesn't have to be!)_ The only thing that makes this pillow differently successful is the low height in the head bowl, the lower cervical support edge and the ability to remove about an inch of foam from the back of the head bowl area. The high back side is way too high for a healthy cervical spine to sleep on all night unless the person has an unaddressed severely pronated cervical spine (as many of us do from crappy forward flexed postural demands from life driving/computing/texting/assembling/etc.) —Can you tell I'm a manual therapist?— The only thing the high side *might* be good for is reading *before* sleep. Other than that- I've given up on funding THE pillow and will settle for modifying this one in the following ways: •Taking an electric turkey knife to trim the "fat" off the foam— remove the arm wings, and shave about an inch of the length of the back side. • Mark when my ears lie, and punch 2 string threads through both of the higher sides of the head bowl for side-sleeping, and add buttons to pinch that area down toward the bottom. I'd love to use snaps if I can find they correct type. • Resew the inner liner and case to accommodate the end result. I'll update with pics when it's done and report whether the mods actually improved or missed the mark.

Tried for a few weeks. Find this pillow too hard. Not comfortable. Does not help to retrieve neck pain for me. In the end, have to throw it away.
