The best looking TV I’ve literally ever seen
Wow. It’s really gorgeous. I was debating between this one and another Sony oled that was about $600 more. I can say there’s no way the other one is worth the extra money. This one really is insanely nice. The picture is almost trippy how clear and colorful it is. I’ve been playing Cyberpunk on it and it’s beautiful. The software is the best I’ve used that’s built into a tv. It’s not perfectly intuitive but it’s the best one I’ve used. It’s also by far the most responsive. The remote is better than passable and it does 4k 120hz on two of the HDMI ports so I have my gaming pc plugged into it and I just had to get a better hdmi cable to actually do it. It also has variable refresh rate which has also been great. If you’re looking for an oled I really believe this is the best one. Sony really does make some solid TVs.

Very satisfied.
Very nice picture. Easy to set up and use. Best TV I've ever had. It was not too heavy or difficult to mount. Have had it for 2 months with no problems at all yet.

Best all-around TV mid-range cost. Great connectivity and picture.
Bought this to replace my earlier 55" Bravia, since that one was going to my mother to replace her less old Samsung which started having non-working pixel-lines on the bottom; (there was nothing wrong with my 55" Bravia, even though it was 4 years old). This 65" has superior glass, is very thin and lighter weight than you'd expect (I was able to lift it to the stand myself) and hooked up easily with Alexa. It connects "Smartly" with the Playstation and even with my Nakamichi Dragon sound system. I also like that it dims the screen when it detects that the video is paused (non-moving) so as to prevent any burn-in just like the 55" I had (never got any burnin at all for OLED on that even though I would pause some TV for longer than 30 minutes for various reasons). Finally, it has a very low lag for gaming with the Playstation, so it's great for that too.

Great TV, Paid For It In Installments
The annoying promotions on the home screen, are kind of random but thankfully muted, lowered the rating by 1 star. Everything else is great. Quality sound, vibrant picture, customization is decent, and functionality is pretty fast. Wouldn't have mind a lower price, but thankfully I was given the pay in installments option. The set up was straight forward. Worth it.

Sony 55 Inch OLED 4K Ultra HD TV BRAVIA XR8B Smart Google TV.
To begin with, this TV took the place of our 10-year-old Sony 49” TV, which was still working. We decided to upgrade and go to a larger screen. The TV was shipped to us very quickly. The setup was very straightforward; don't rush it like I did and pick the wrong service. I use an Amazon Fire TV Stick with the DirecTV streaming service. When you start, it automatically directs you to the Google homepage. In the option, you can have the TV start on the HDMI that Firefox or Roku is on, and it will start up on that HDMI input. When I tuned into my first football game, I was blown away. The picture quality is truly amazing, with rich colors and sharp images. I never needed to adjust the color; it was spot on. We have always purchased Sony TVs, and this Sony is by far the best one we have ever had for picture quality. I will end this with just one word. AWESOME!!!!!

Maybe look elsewhere; Sony support isn't good
I think you should look elsewhere--but I'm not sure where given the current options. After looking at several models in this price range, size, and capability--I chose this Sony model primarily because a) I've read good things about the Google TV platform, and b) I've read that Sony support should be better simply because it wasn't offshore. Well--because of an issue I describe below--I know for sure that Sony support is very clearly offshore. The Tech Support personnel's ability to communicate in English is subpar at best. And they are not any good, technically. They don't have any understanding of this platform, and they can only read off a script. And they will not let you get in touch with an engineer who could likely easily understand what is going on, if not fix it. Semi-frequently, the TV simply reboots itself. This has happened at least seven times over the last month or so. Because their basic test does not identify anything wrong, therir Tech Support department is stumped. Suggestions they make are beyond stupid, but I did them. Of course, the problem still happens. There is clearly either a kernel problem (for which they should be able to enable logging for and be able to retrieve dumps . . . if they had any interest in or knowledge about how to do that), or some intermittently failing piece of hardware. I'm just past the return date from Amazon, so now I have to live with a TV that will restart intermittently. And one of the things they seriously suggest was to not stream anything beyond 1080p . . . . that is seriously a suggestion they want me to follow, and is one for which they were not able to provide any explanation. I asked why Sony would sell a 4k-capable TV that cannot handle 4k steams, and the Tech Support person literally had no response. I have a response, in writing, that says this is within Sony’s acceptance criteria. I had read that LG and Samsung definitely have offshore support, and that the TV platforms both of them are currently use is worse. I can't speak to the last point, but I can't imagine that the LG and Samsung support would be any different than Sony's.
