You can apply it, but I soon stopped using it because whwever I needed quick access to the freezer it was in the way. It could trap heat too.

think material, seems durable.
I got this one as it would fit most sides of my chest freezer but it is a bit on the larger side for my needs - but the others would not fit otherwise - yet, this one has a strap that helps get it tighter. I like the material, seems to be of great quality.

So far it’s working well to protect my freezer
My little deep freezer is on my balcony, and so far during winter it has been great… I’ll update after a Canadian summer.
