Is starting to come apart after 3 years?????

I like this blind as I just wanted something cheap to put on my Porch window that would help keep the cold out somewhat without using plastic. I have some coat hooks so I can put up some thin insulation. This helps as well.The Aluminum Windows always leak cold air in on my porch where my dog is and I try to keep her a little warm. This has worked perfectly and its wide and pulls up with two blind strings. Rolls right up to let the sunshine in. I didn't need a regular blind that just rolls up into a top. Its on a porch where I just need something so that when the wind blows that this will stop the cold air from coming in.

I have since gone back and read the description, and see that I misread it. It says "outside mount" and I interpreted that to mean can "mount outside." My bad. This blind only lasted one year under the eaves of the porch. I only put it down when I was sitting outside, so it was not subject to the elements. However, immediately after installation, the cords where an issue, and it was a struggle to roll it up straight.

The sun in our bright, passive solar house does not permit us to have expensive drapes unless we want to replace them every year! These inexpensive shades are perfectly fine for privacy and keeping out the sun but allowing a bit of light to come through. They are minimalistic, easy to clean with a hose once a year and look fine with our wood flooring. (When they wear out, I use them in the basement and garage to cover up our open shelving. It works just great.) You need to be careful about baseboard heaters and not allow the shades to get too near them. Hanging them is not rocket science. If you want terrifically high quality, buy something else. Be gentle with them. My first ones lasted 14 years.

This was perfect for my windows.It was a struggle to use because the cord kept unhooking from the back, so it won't roll up. Honestly, that was a poor mechanism, but I hook it back and added crazy glue for "insurance".Doesn't unhook anymore and it goes up and and down whenever I need shade and sun.I really was glad to found this and to buy this.

These blinds did the trick for us. Needed something a little more economical than the higher priced blinds. They are not as sturdy as the bamboo blinds but they work for us. Just needed something extra for the sides of our porch. Only thing I’d change was the color. I wish they were a little darker.

The cords were extremely knotted and tangled. They were not installed right so wouldn't roll up and down. Re strung them and now they operate correctly. It was very aggravating to have to spend so much time getting them to work.

The worse blinds I've ever bought. Bought them last year and put them up and within a week they started to fall apart. I just hung them and tied them and never adjusted now I'm going for something of better quslity. They weren't even some is the straws were longer thennothers
