Men's Alpiner Extreme Swiss Made 3-Hand Date Automatic Watch, Rubber Strap, Sapphire Crystal, 41 x 42.5mm, 100M Water Resistant

I have always been a watch snob. I haven’t yet moved on with the smartwatch crowd. Personally, I feel that Alpina – which has been around since the late 1800s – is very much underappreciated. My familiarity with the Alpina brand is how it is known for its impeccable quality and ability to withstand rugged usage during sports, diving, flying, etc. Once you have one of their timepieces in your hands, you can clearly see why. Once I had this watch in my hands, I could see why right away. The finishing is pristine – even when looking under magnification. This watch is part of the Automatic Alpiner Collection - which features all of their pilot watches. It has Swiss Automatic movement and a sapphire crystal. The blue rubber band is incredibly comfortable. It is Water resistant up to 200M but I do take it off for bathing and have not worn it in the shower. Another cool feature is that the back casing is see through so you can see the inner workings of the watch. This watch will become an heirloom in our family – one that I hope will be handed down to future generations. I am well aware that it is my responsibility to educate the next generation, my son, on the heritage of the Alpina brand which is renowned for its Swiss craftsmanship. I do hope that one day my grandson, then his grandson, and all future wearers will have the same appreciation when wearing this watch. It is classic looking, but also has the rugged blue rubber band which gives it more of a sporty feel. How can any of their watches be less than 5 out of 5 stars? This Alpina Alpiner men's automatic Swiss watch is simply stunning. It comes on a black rubber strap, and has a black dial with a repeating Alpina triangle design. the same triangle is repeated in red on the seconds hand. With a case diameter of 41mm and thickness of 11.5mm, it is sturdy and looks great on the wrist. The see through exhibition case-back is a nice touch, showing off the watch movement. The white markers and hands provide a bright contrast between the black watch facer making it easy to read. The watch comes with a stationary bezel, so definitely not a dive or sports watch intentded to track elapsed time, but it still looks sporty and modern. The watch is well made and stylish, and although i'm not a huger fan of rubber straps (I prefer metal straps) I actually don't mind this one. It suits the style of the watch nicely. I've only had this watch for a few days, but so far it's keeping time perfectly. The stainless steel case feels solid and well made, and is well designed. Overall, this is a great Swiss watch, at a reasonable price for the high quality of craftsmanship, and I would highly reccomend it for anyone seeking Swiss quality at a good price point.

It has very good quality, a nice color, and is lightweight. It works well and comes in a nicely shaped box that includes a travel carrying case. It’s easy to use, and the battery lasts for 3 days. Overall, I really like it and think it’s an excellent product for the price
