Outstanding plant. I would recommend.
September 24, 2018: The pink, 1-gallon Rose of Sharon came in a tall, narrow box with air holes and corner cardboard insets to keep plant stabilized. The roots were wrapped in plastic and a string was wrapped around the stem and taped to pot to prevent the plant from falling out of the pot. The bush itself was healthy, blooming and had more buds. The bloom looks true to picture. Unusual to have blooms this late in the year. The potting mix was of high grade quality. See pictures to see plant condition, box, and blooms on first day. Update: Keeps blooming. Bloom picture on October 9, 2018 added. Looks just like the listing picture.

Lovely
I received this two days quicker than anticipated and it looks in great shape out of the box. It's happily planted in its new home and I look forward to watching it flourish. Update - year two for my lil guy and he's doing great. Loving all the blooms :)

Healthy plant
I am writing this review after 8 month. I bought this plant in March 2017, it arrived with couple of stems. I was little worried but knew it will survive because I bought whole lot of plants from amazon and they did pretty good. Unbelievable this one gave uncounted flowers the plant was loaded with beautiful purple flower. I moved in July so was very busy until now. Very happy with the seller. Will buy more verities from this seller ๐ End of October moved the plant indoor, after moving it started shedding all the leaves and today it is again with couple of stem. Waiting to see how long it is going take to get green. Will update soon.

Beautiful out of the box!
I just received this, and must admit, I had low expectations ordering it from amazon. I have purchased Rose of Sharon's from Proven Winners at my local garden shops but decided I wanted a pink chiffon and they were all out of that particular one. Took a chance and ordered it and my low expectations were dashed. The plant arrived FULL of blooms and buds and very very healthy. Extremely happy. Going to let it rest today and will be planting it tomorrow. So if you are hesitant to order online I say take the chance, it was much larger than the 6-18" as stated in the description and was shipped in a tall upright box with holes. Can't wait to order more!

Blue Chiffon Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus) - The little stick that could - Updated
Was excited to try this seller and this plant. We have relandscaped and wanted to add some unusual plants to our front yard garden area. I have purchased and grown hibiscus previously so am no stranger to the plant or the quality you sometimes receive. I looked over other buyers' pics and information before I made my purchase. Was pleased to see leaves and some growth in the majority of the pics. I received my "stick" today. Unlike other buyers, I had zero leaves in the box or on the plant. I am not able to see any budding in the areas that should have a little green. However, I have lovingly repotted it and placed it under a grow light to give it a chance to bud if it is going to. My pic did not turn out too well however I think it is clear enough you can get the idea of what I am working with here. Not impressed with the product or the shipping. It came via postal service and as others have shared the box was cardboard with very little "cushion" for the shipping method the seller chose. A cardboard box and a plastic bag are very little defense for the USPS. Will wait a few days then ask for a refund if I am unable to revive this poor thing. Suspect, I will be looking for a replacement soon. 1/29/22 Updated a photo of my hibiscus after loving care under a grow light for several weeks. It has developed very healthy green leaves and is starting to branch out. With more time and the right attention, I am hopeful it will continue to grow then bloom. I will continue to update so others can see the potential over time should they receive a plant similar to the one I received.

Got a tiny plant and NOT the plant type I ordered
I ordered Blue Chiffon Rose of Sharon last year in April. It was tiny when it arrived, smaller than expected, still dormant and very few roots. I planted it in a sunny ( but not full sun as I am in SoCal) spot and regularly watered it but it barely grew some leaves during the summer, and no new branches. So, when it finally developed its first flower, I was excited..until I noticed this is not the right flower. I found that this is not Blue Chiffon Rose of Sharon, which I ordered. From the looks on PW pictures, it is Azzurri Rose of Sharon, a different type. When checking the reviews, I realized that others had complained about the same mix-up, which shows me that the supplier does not seem to care to provide a solution: either rectify the listing to display the correct plant cultivar, or improve quality management in deliveries to make sure to send the correct cultivar according to the order. Now, almost a year later, the plant is the same height as when I first got it ( still dormant currently). Will see how it is developing this summer. I would like to order the Purple Pillar Rose of Sharon this spring but I am hesitant to order another PW because of the experienced quality issues.

Good choice
Beautiful flowers. I planted this one in a pot, has had several blooms. Will plant in ground after it grows larger. I have several althea, most are about 10' tall. Great shrubs, actually trees. Several colors, they bloom all summer. This one is "blue" but has purple look also, much more blue than my purple ones. Good choice for yard, very colorful and resilient.

Second year is growing but not as quickly as anticipated.
I was pleased to be able to find this plant on line because I couldnโt find it in my town.
