Actually the 3 stars do not mean anything. I'm not sure if the shoes are decent or not. Amazon said that they were delivered today, Sunday, when in fact they were not. This has happened before. The drivers or someone marks the Prime product as delivered on time to keep their statistics looking good. It was Sunday, I really didn't expect the shoes to be delivered today but I sure don't like being lied to. My guess is that it is not Amazon corporate but some local yahoos who decided not to make deliveries on this wonderful Sunday Afternoon. As far as I know there is no way of disputing the Amazon delivery without wasting a couple of hours which I don't plan on doing. I suspect that my shoes will be delivered tomorrow and all is well. If not then I'll have to waste time finding the proper avenue to dispute the delivery.UPDATE--Finally received my shoes and I love them. I have two pairs of shoes, these and a pair of Scott's. Both pair are size 47. The Scott's are too big and these border on too small. I think these are on the small/tight side. I will purchase these again but a half size larger next time. I purchased a few pair of very thin sox and all is well.

They were too hot for a normal summer day here in Nebraska. I ended up returning them because I could not get the cleats tight enough not to slip out of position without stripping the treads. I switched back to Shimano shoes. They have never let me down.

Bought my regular size in this shoe and the fit is good, if a little bit snug. A close fit is important though for bike shoes in order to minimize wasted effort with the foot sliding around inside. Some days my feet are more swollen than others, and the adjustable velcro strap allows me more space in the toe box when I need it. Having put a few hundred miles on them I have developed no hotspots or blisters.The carbon soles are rock solid stiff, so power transfer is great. And the single BOA fastening system works efficiently and spreads pressure evenly over the top of the foot. The insole is functional with neutral/low arch support.Lastly what attracted me to the shoes was the simple classy styling. In a sport that can be awfully gaudy most of the time, these shoes are understated and elegant.
