Skin Perfection GHK-CU Copper Peptides Serum for Face & Hair - Copper Peptide...

I've been using this product as a facial serum for a few weeks and have found it to really keep my skin clear and looking healthy. I've also used it on my hairline whereI have some thinning. I need to use it more consistently to see improvement in my hairline. Nevertheless, I do like this product for my skin.

I've been using this product for a little over a month now and have seen a noticeable improvement in my skin. My neck area had started sagging and getting that crepe paper look that comes with age. Since I started using this, there has been a noticeable and marked improvement. I was amazed that it actually works so well!!! Several notes: - Disregard those reviews that say this is tap water....it is not! - The instructions are very generic (based on the concentration of the serum....1% in this case), which I believe is because the same instructions apply to other DIY products that Skin Perfections sells - I took a 2 oz container and put in my normal serum, added 6 drops initially (3 drops per oz) and stirred thoroughly. I've added one additional drop per oz since then - I've done the same with my regular face cream - I use both in the morning and then a prescription Retin A in the evening (I've been using Retin A for years so the improvement I mentioned is not being driven by the Retin A) One last note....I've reached the point where I try to steer clear of sellers that provide samples free of charge or at a discount in exchange for reviews because you never know whether or not you're getting honest feedback. One of the reasons I went with Skin Perfections is that I did not find any reviews that were based on free samples...unlike some other DIY Copper Peptides. I hope that Skin Perfections continues to sell this product!

I was hoping it’s good for vitiligo but no change in my skin and no change in general not even sure what it’s supposed to do

MAybe by a certain age we just are not going to get hair back like it or not. I am not one to give up. I was doing research on hair growth for years and recently found mention of copper peptides. Copper peptides research for hair growth showed great results and compare them to be as god if not better than a well known product. I bought a bottle and mixed the suggested amount in a carrier, rose water, and applied every day for over 3 months. I did see some minor hair regrowth called vellus hairs. I then added a serum product made with various oils and I added copper peptides to it. Having seen some earlier results I believe people should try the peptides before using the topical drug. Remember there are four phases with hair. The anagen or growth phase will give best results.

Received products but still not in used

This company has some cool products, I actually just ordered more from their website before delving into this further. HOWEVER, I feel I was duped when I ordered this product, thinking it was highly concentrated and would save me money. This solution as received is only 1% GHK-Cu. Dr. Pickart, of Skin Biology, is the expert on this ingredient as he created and researched it. He recommends a 1% solution at MINIMUM to achieve results on living skin. Lower concentrations were only effective on cells in a dish, VERY different from actual skin. So as received, this "booster" is already at the minimum recommended concentration. Adding 9 drops of a 1% solution to 1oz is far, far less than what has been shown in research studies to be effective, something like .015% if my math is correct. So this product is essentially an expensive, and super basic, ready-to-use copper peptide serum without any other beneficial ingredients, or even preservatives. You can get The Ordinary's multi-peptide +copper 1% serum for basically the same price, with lots of other great ingredients, in a stable formula. So don't be duped like me, and if you want to DIY, order this company's GHK-Cu powder which is actually 100% pure, and can save you a little bit of money formulating at an effective concentration. Btw when I asked the question here, of how adding 9 drops of a 1% copper peptide solution made the resulting solution 1% copper peptides, the company just reiterated the "recommended" 9 drops per 1ml. Who is "recommending" this? Not the foremost authority on copper peptides for skincare.... Two stars because if you have allergies or sensitivities to common skincare ingredients, this super basic formulation would be something you could use. And that's about the only positive thing I can say about it honestly.

Relatively strong, however is hard to apply topically with how low its viscosity is.
