Is medium light, indoors alright?

Hi There, You can grow lavender indoors, particularly the French lavender (Lavandula dentata) varieties. Use a terra cotta pot (clay). They prefer direct sunlight. If medium light means about three hours, then maybe supplement that with a lamp with a gro or daylight bulb.

what USDA zone do these grow best in?

I'm in zone 7 and mine do fine here. Most are hardy from Zones 5 to 9; Spanish Lavender is only hardy in Zones 7 to 9.

Do these seeds need to be stratified before sowing or are the already stratified and ready to plant?

I don't know what stratified means, but I'm going to look it up. If they needed this, I'm sure it would say it on the package. I did not stratify before planting.

I live in south america, where the weather vary between sun and rain. i’ve planted a mixture of the seeds outdoors. how long till germination?
