Pioneer Photo Albums 300-Pocket Post Bound Photo Album for 4 by 6-Inch Prints, Bay Blue Leatherette Cover

Excellent album, will be ordering more. At first I was surprised how large the album is, but that didn't matter because for as many photos as it hold (300) it's thin and will store easily, much better than smaller albums that become thick and cumbersome when filled. This album allows for 6 4x6" prints per page. The pockets open from the top down and there's a small area above each photo pocket to write info about the photo. The album has posts to hold the pages in and those can be removed and expanded to add more photo pages. However, since the album arrives ready to store 300 photos I would probably order a second album instead of expanding this one. The cover is pretty, I ordered the navy blue. The outside of the album is covered in a protective clear cover. I slid some larger sized photos behind this sheet as an album cover. The clear cover can also be used to slide in any type of notes or pretty cover. Inside the album, front and back, are pages to make notes about each photo. There's also a page with information on how to order extra pages and expansion posts. Excellent album, highly recommend.

These are the best photo albums ever! They are big. Refillable. I love the classic design. Easy to use. Last forever. Thy have a plastic cover that protects the album. They come in multiple colors. They are reasonable in price. Perfect for my treasured family photos. They have an index for writing. Room to write underneath each photo. They also come with a paper where you can order nice brass name places for each album. For an extra fee of course.

I have ten or twelve of these albums, they basically hold a photo history of our family. They hold up well and can easily be added to.

My wife has me buy these albums and inserts for her. She is organizing all our pictures. These albums are not expensive and do not pretend to be fabulously bound. However, they are bound securely and accept her pictures nicely. When she runs out of room she likes that I can just order inserts and put them in for her. I think this is the 4th pioneer we have purchased now. The 5 star rating is not for being the very best quality possible, it is for being useful and at a price we can afford.

The MP46 is functional and sturdy, good looking enough to lay out on a "brag table", and is expandable. Getting the thing apart to mount refill pages is kind of a trick, needing 4 hands and the right size coin and pliers to hold the coin. A screw driver barely works. The slots are cut to accomodate a penny I think, because they aren't deep enough to accomodate a screw driver. But the screw is so tight, you need pliers to hold the penny, one on each end of the post, while you wrestle the album with your other two hands. While it's real handy that you can mount the 3-1/ x 5 refill pages in the same album, to mount your old pictures and not have them slop around in the 4x6 slots, Pioneer didn't feel it necessary to allow their 5x7 and 8x10 refill pages to also mount in the same album. The mounting holes aren't the same distance apart. You have to cut some new holes or buy a differet album. Getting lots of different sizes in the same album is a difficult task. But if your project includes pictures from many different sources, and times, and formats, what are ya gonna do? Gluing them all in a scap book is even more of a pain, and doesn't allow for dismounting if the album falls apart after 100 years. Your great grandchildren will have to got through the same mess all over again. But then, they'll probably just digitize them and for get the joy of handling an actual 100 year old picture that is history in the making.

I give this 5 stars because the correlation between the price and the product is perfect. I didn't need anything fancy, just a more compact way of storing my photos. Easy picture placement and removal, and it stores a LOT of standard sized photos. There is a small area to write a short note, too. I noticed some other reviews said there wasn't a place to write. There is, it's just not a very big space. Good for a brief explanation and the date. If you're looking for some fancy, leather bound, heritage-style scrapbook, you'll have to pay more. For the price, this was just right. I'll probably buy a couple more and transfer the rest of my pictures.

I have been using these albums since 2001. I have filled over 50 of them. I keep meaning to switch over to a digital photo book but I just love my prints. They are great photo albums and they’ve lasted many years including two moves, being packed up and unpacked.

I was looking for a photo album that would hold a lot of pictures since I just had many years worth printed! The pictures fit perfectly. The album itself is sturdy and looks nice. The only drawback for me is that I store my albums in dresser drawers. This album is too big for the drawers, so I had to find another place to store them. Other than that, great album!

Estoy muy contenta de haber entrado esto a buen precio, ya casi no venden albums para fotos debido a que todo es digital, pero era un regalo para una persona mayor y estaba muy contenta con esto.

Por ciento noventa pesos mexicanos sentí que me lo regalaron, compré dos. Excelente producto. Único inconveniente, cada página tiene espacio para 6 fotos tamaño estándar, todos horizontales. No hay para fotos verticales!!

Perfect for the new babe! Decent price and tons of space. Not happy the additive sheets are so expensive tho!! Likely will just buy a new book instead!!
