Perfect fit replacement
Moen has a real crap design for the posi-temp handle. The original plastic piece wears out every couple of years due to it rounding out. This makes the perfect replacement whenever you WILL have to replace it.

Every now and then you come across a product that changes your life... this is not one of them, but it did solve my broken shower handle problem like it's meant to. For that I'm grateful, but alas, I continue on the search for that one special product...

Way better price than name brand
Listen, for less than 7 bucks, I would buy this again in a heartbeat to avoid paying $83 at the local hardware store for a full trim kit just to get the part I needed. Is this name brand? No. Does it 100% fit exactly as the old one did? No. But it’s pretty close. And if the only issue is that the plastic on this is a little thicker than the original, causing the set screw not to screw all the way into the hole, I’m not bothered by that aesthetic issue enough to pay $80+ for a genuine Moen part. Save yourself some money and buy this. It works.

Great set, came with the shown parts and the allen wrench
It started with a drippy faucet. Then the old set screw in the handle was partially stripped out. My other allen keys couldn't engage well enough. The key that came with this set could grab and remove it. I replaced all of the parts included with this set and a new 1222 cartridge. No more drip. I think the key that came with this set was the biggest part to it going smoothly though!

This fixed my wobbly shower handle. Took 30 seconds to replace. Remember to turn off the water when taking the center screw out. I can't believe Amazon had this part, thanks!
