Life saver! God bless the employees, scientists and product designers at 3M. 3M makes products that benefit, improve and in many ways save human life! Moving to India and living with the terrible pollution was an absolute nightmare. My first and current observation is that my beloved Indian brothers and sisters live in absolute fatalistic oblivion of the perils of inhaling toxic highly carcinogenic organic vapors, chemicals, and smog that are emitted by all non-electric and gasoline propelled vehicles. Prana is our life force, and we Indians should invest in enduring the safety of the air we breathe, just as we do with the food we eat and the water we drink. I use this product religiously while riding a motorcycle or driving a car. Contrary to common assumptions, air conditioners are not chemical filtering devices. They only remove dust and odor. After using this, I clearly observed that I did not feel tired or light headed after driving around as I initially did (while waiting for this device to arrive). People will stare at me, make snide comments, and snicker at me due to the way the mask looks on me. But I'm having the last laugh... Because those people are breathing in cancer and I'm not! Ha ha ha! Thank you 3M

They work well. No paint smells can be detected when using a respirator with these cartridges while spray painting.

I've used these 3M 6006 cartridges for many years at the plant where I worked and at home for spraying. They work as advertised when used in the appropriate 3M mask. Remember to visually check and pressure test that the inhalation and exhale valves are working properly in your mask. Without them, the cartridge doesn't help much. This filter does what 3M says it will do. It protects you from particulates and gases. The Seller questions section asks if this filter is N95 compliant. The seller mentions that he thinks the filter protects you against particulates. This filter -in and of itself- does not protect to the level of N95. I am guessing the seller never opened one of these because it would break the seal. Inside is the 3M fact sheet which advises you must add the 5N11 filter to achieve N95 level of protection. This info is also available on the 3M website. The picture shows the parts needed to protect to the level of N95. If you want only N95 particulate protection you don't need this filter. The 3 parts in the picture will get you that. Substitute this filter for part 603 if you want additional protection from gases. Add goggles and you have protection at the street demonstration from tear and other irritant gases. If you start to smell the gas is the time to replace it. This seems like a very good price for that level of protection.

Works like a charm. Been using it while sanding, spray painting and it does it's intended job. The build quality is quite sturdy. It's as comfortable as it can get, it doesn't get filled with the moisture coming out of your nostrils and mouth. All in all a pretty good buy.
