Have been looking for a body cam sometime and decided on this model and brand. Extremely satisfied with my purchase! This cam is loaded with features and includes an extra battery. Be careful when removing battery cover as it could snap in half, easiest way to prevent breakage is work slowly, don't be in a hurry such as forcing the cover. Additionally, if cold outside wait until battery cover is at room temp. this will prevent breakage when removing. Battery cover fits tight to prevent moisture intrusion-note: upon reinstalling battery cover make sure it is fully snapped in place with no gaps between cover and camera body. Battery cover has a lock feature (nice) to prevent battery becoming loose or displacing from unit. Includes two heavy duty clasps. Recommendations: would like to see a lock feature to prevent accidental depressing of a function tab and higher input/output for sound and quality. Volume-mic/speaker are not forward facing rather they're located at rear and top of camera body which in my opinion hinders capture of sound quality during playback. IR red lamps are visible but does take exceptional IR videos! Has a function to switch automatically to IR mode when entering a less light/darker setting, very nice feature! Having mentioned a few improvements (above) this body cam is an exceptional camera at a reasonable price for civilian/security guard or LE for budget conscience Departments. Highly recommend this body camera and would purchase again vs spending upwards of $2000.00 on an AXON.

Freezes up and the cover breaks easily when switching out the battery. I have purchased four of these cams. Even the clip that attaches to the shirt broke

I initially had major issues with the Boblov B4K6. When recording in 4K, the camera would 'freeze up'—it took 10+ clicks to start or stop a recording, and often the files wouldn't save at all. The Fix: I discovered the issue is the included 128GB card. It is a U1 speed class, which is too slow to handle the massive data flow of 4K video. Once I dropped the resolution to 2K 30fps, the camera became perfectly responsive and saved every file instantly. Bottom Line: If you want to use this for 4K, do yourself a favor and buy a high-quality U3 or V30 rated card (like a SanDisk Extreme or Samsung Pro Endurance). The camera itself is excellent and the 2K quality is great, but the 'default' card just can't keep up with 4K. The cameras features are really nice although i wish the flashlight was brighter. The battery life is as advertised. The sound quality is nice giving you the option to adjust the mic sensitivity.

Video quality is good. I like that. I can, with an adapter, move the videos immediately to my iPhone photo gallery. But the big problem with this camera is the video and audio recording buttons are on the side and if they’re accidentally pressed, it will turn off the video recording or switch to audio mode. This could be a big, big problem if you were counting on it. Please advise if I’m missing something here, but there doesn’t appear to be a way to lock the buttons out. You can push the power button once and it will turn off the screen, but if any button is pushed, it will bring it back on and then if either the record or the audio record button are accidentally pressed at all, the recording will either stop or it will stop video and start audio recording. I almost can’t believe that it was designed without a lockout button or to require much more pressure. It needs to have a button that’s pushed and held in for a certain amount of time or a combination of buttons that would be pressed to lock out the buttons from accidental taps. Thanks!
