Los Natas (who changed their name from just "Natas" for copyright infringement reasons) released this album on the now defunct Man's Ruin label, the shutdown of which numerous stoner and/or desert rock/metal albums were casualties (such as Queens of the Stone Age's self titled debut). The band is still going, though I hear their sound has changed, having not heard any of their other albums I can't use them as points of comparison but I was really impressed by this, which I purchased looking for good music in the aforementioned genres after becoming hooked on QOTSA, Kyuss and The Desert Sessions. It's ten tracks of beautiful, psychedelic, jam-heavy meandering rock running at just under 50 minutes that has both the feeling of stretching over miles of open sky or many years of contemplation, and sections of driven-ness where it picks up it's pace to a run (or maybe hitches a lift in a fast car). It's largely instrumental (which works just fine as the musicianship is of a high standard), with the occasional lyrics (while the band is argentinian the lyrics are in English, not Spanish, which of course isn't a contradiction at all) serving more to blend with the music and give you a vague idea of what the song is about (often the same line will be repeated several times), from which you can imagine the specifics however you like. The cover art suits the music. There don't seem to be any technical issues with the CD itself and it transfers to iTunes and iPod just fine. Get it if you still can.
