Game changing gear!!!
Excellent product right here. I had the original bino-buddies system that I carried for years before these. They were a lot better than nothing, but far from what you'll get out of the lock down system. These seriously lock your binos down. I hunt in western Oregon in the coast range. Here we see everything from hiking logging roads, cruising around glassing clear cuts, and most of all, (for me at least) walking through the miserably brushy terrain tracking game. Not only do these things hold my binos completely down (reducing the amount of "F-bombs" as I snag another viney maple), it covers up the lenses, adding a bit of water resistance. These have been a huge game changer for me. I will recommend these to any hunter, in any conditions, any day. I recently purchased another set for my dads birthday, which he loves. Easy set up out of the box, and super quick and easy to adjust for body type and clothing layers. If you're tired of loose bulky gear, this is the product for you.

Overall a very effective harness
Great concept. Really helps control the bounce, although there is still some movement. Also are wonderful in terms of quickly lifting them to the eye withoutr having to bend you neck in an awkward position- very free movement from chest to eye. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it would benefit from either smaller (less thick) clips for attaching to binoculars (at least on bushnell elite series) or including plastic or galvanized rings to attach as a medium between binocs and harness clips. Also, the lower end should be wider to accomadate full coverage of lenses. And yes, the bright markings are a bit over the top and I suppose the overall presentation (at least for hunting purposes) would benefit from more subtle markings in terms of the brand lettering. Having said all that, none of these things would prevent me from purchasing this item- it really does do what it needs to do much better than others I've owned at at a much more reasonable price.

Perfect harness for your Binoculars
I have the Nikon 10x42 Monarch ATB which fits perfectly in this harness. I can walk, run and climb and the binos stay in place. And I can operate the harness with one hand to get the binoculars out and up to my eyes. I now leave the binoculars attached for the most part, and just throw on the harness if I need them. If I remember correctly I did have to purchase some utility loops to attached the binoculars to the harness, not a big deal though. The harness has been holding up to light to moderate use, so I can't rate the durability to the fullest.

Good harness for active birding and stalking game
I use this for long walks and bicycle rides looking for birds. It is just barely large enough for my binoculars, which are professional quality 8x40 proof prism type. I had to use split rings to attach the binoculars to the clips at the end of the neck straps - they are too small for the standard eyes in the binoculars. The harness is light and keeps the binoculars out of the way, not only when walking but also when bending over to key out plants or running after an elusive bird. The side straps require continual adjustments to keep the binoculars close to one's chest. The last harness I owned, which was designed for cameras, was heavier and did not keep the binoculars in place as well, but I think it was more durable. This harness also has more adjustments, which I expect to be useful in the winter.

Nice harness, but not quite up to my expectations.
While this harness does an adequate job of protecting my binoculars (Nikon Monarch 5), it is not quite up to my expectations. The fit around the binoculars is somewhat loose (as I suppose any harness not specifically made for a particular brand / style / size binocular would be). Also, accessing the binoculars is a bit cumbersome.... you have to lift the elastic loop off of the hook, and then pull the binoculars down below the top cover and then pull them up to your eyes. Too much motion / action required to be real useful when hunting in "stealth" mode..... For bird watching where stealth is not as critical, however, this item is just fine. Finally, and this is a matter of personal preference, I would be more satisfied if the binoculars were secured lower on my body (at the lowest adjustment, the middle of the binocs is about even with the bottom of my sternum). I would prefer that they hang a bit lower and secure closer to my waist.Overall, a good product, and appears to be well constructed. Good value for the price, and it does the job for which it is intended.

Great for hunting Montana
Was a little sceptical of using a binocular harness like this, but was pleasantly surprised. Works great for hunting. Used a season in Montana with no issues at all. The tension free use of binoculars is awesome. Would buy again. Quality product.
