Excellent non-traditional Christmas story
Happily added this to our crate of holiday books this year. I love all things illustrated by Gris Grimly, and the story is a pretty quick fun read, so this slightly odd creepy Christmas book is perfect. Plus he’s a Native Nebraskan, with farmer grandparents, like me ;) so naturally that just makes it even better. This book is a must add to any Grimly lover’s collection.

Cute book. I was hoping to turn this book into a Christmas tradition with my six year old. Her response wasn't as enthusiastic as I would have hoped. But I enjoy the artwork and like it for myself.
