Makes the water too hot 🔥🥵🔥
Only joking. This is exactly what I needed. It took me breaking two glass+plastic electric kettles over the years before I finally decided it's time I made the upgrade to a mostly metal kettle. I love how water only ever touches metal, that's very important to me. It's silent: all you hear is the boiling water, and the light shuts off. There's no whistle like stovetop kettles have, but since this is auto-shut off and well-insulated it's really unnecessary. The water stays hot enough that when you're ready for it you can just hit the lever again for a quick maxing up to 100°C again. I turn it on and sit in a darkened room so the kettle's LED is more prominent, which helps me get my tea or broth ASAP-ier. Easy. Looks futuristic: the brushed metal cylinder is unlike most kitchen fixtures I've seen 👍. Works great. The only micro-gripe I'd mention is that the hinge on the top lid sometimes gets stuck halfway open. It's not a big issue, but since there's no knob on the lid, if you needed to open it while piping hot water is in there you'd maybe unwittingly have to reach under the lid to lift, risking a scale. As long as you're aware of this and cautious you should live this.

High-performance product
Great, especially for the price. Heats water quickly. Lid-open angle makes it easy to clean. Have read a number of complaints about the cord being too short, but that’s simply not true. The cord is two and a half feet in length, which is longer than that on my coffee maker. I absolutely love this kettle and highly recommend its performance.

Reasonablly good
Nice looking design, clean and easy use. Reasonable hold time for the boiled water, the open drains reduce the hold time otherwise would give it 5

Great kettle at an amazing price.
I've had this for several days now and have used it multiple times. It's an awesome kettle for an amazing price. It's absolutely beautiful with a matte black finish, isn't hot to the touch, the inside is made of stainless steel (no contact with plastic), it boils water very fast and not too loud. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

No Automatic Shut-Off
I really wanted to like this electric kettle -- but the auto shut-off doesn't work and that creates a hazard. It heats well. It heats relatively quickly, so the water is ready to use soon after you turn it on, but it doesn't shut off like advertised. That's why I can't rate it any higher than 1. Other kettles I've had all shut off soon after reaching the boiling point, and always after I picked the kettle up off its base. Not this one. It continues to supply heat until I manually push the ON lever back down. That's a huge safety risk, and I tested it multiple times, letting it continue boiling for several minutes, and no luck. Maybe I just got a lemon, but pretty as it is -- into the trash it goes because it's an accident waiting to happen.
