The idea is snap the lenses inside the case while the temples fold across the back of the case. Fine in theory, but even though I wear pretty large-framed sunglasses, the case is too wide for it too work. The temples won't fold around the back because the case is so much bigger than the frame. The only way to get them to fit would be to trim the back of the case on the sides so I could fold the temples back. Easy enough to do, but not at all nice- or finished-looking. My everyday glasses fit completely inside the case, temples and all, with a little struggle to snap it closed. But it bought it to keep my sunglasses conveniently at hand, so I'll be cutting the back of the case down to size.I have revised my review from two stars to four. I bought the smaller size, and it works much better. The temples fold over the back of the case with no problem. Not a perfect fit, but dangled from my purse with no problems so far.

Cute sunglasses holder and purse candy. I get compliments all the time for this sunglass holder. It is best for flat sunglasses. And I made an improvement for more security by adding additional clasp inside case.
