Upon immediate package pickup and before opening the box it came in, you will notice the weight on this tool.The glass breaker comes in a nice protective case, and a nylon pouch as well. It extends flawlessly every time, and the opposite ends can be interchanged between a flat surface, or a pointed edge for easier glass breakage.Four stars and not five, because it could use a little improvement in retraction, albeit it does work well as is.

I HOPE I NEVER HAVE TO USE THIS ON SOMEONE!!! But this personal security baton comes in a sleek case, with easy belt pouch. Its weighted nicely for comfortable carrying. This baton is easy to open and close, though it took some practice to get the motion down. My wife says she wants one for her car. I guess I'll be buying more soon for friends and family!

The holster is very unreliable and not worth the risk of using.Of course I did not buy this for the holster. The batons themselves are great and are made heavy enough to do some damage. These are definitely strong enough to break the arm of an attacker.The friction lock works great and the baton extends very easily but requires a bit more finesse to close which is actually a good thing. These can be used for thrusting and jabbing as well as striking without needing to worry about the baton collapsing unintentionally.Collapsible batons should never be easy to close otherwise it would defeat the whole purpose and advantage to using these for self defense. There should never be a situation where you have to close these in a hurry. The most important thing is that these can open in a hurry and stay locked so that you can use them like you would use a foil or a rapier without worrying about them collapsing on you.I highly recommend practicing closing them a few times to get the hang of it.

What I got was not what was advertised. To start instead of what looks like a flat rubberized handle in the product picture I got a paracord wrapped handle with a wrist loop on the end this was a plus but again not what was advertised here. Second there's no "Glass Breaker" knob on the end of mine just a solid screw on metal cap this was a let down for me since that was one of the things I bought this for, even if it was included with the package there is no way it would fit in the nylon holster provided once added so I'm assuming that it was never intended to be part of this. Over all I am happy with my order it takes quite a forceful downward swing to extend it and the 3rd time I extended it which was to take the photos of this review the upper portion would not retract I had to grab it by both hands and drive it into the ground to retract it I did add wd40 to the product like many are saying and it seams to retract a little easier but still not gonna be able to do it without slamming it into the ground. Its definitely made from solid steel or a likewise heavy metal it has a lot of heft to it even closed at 10 inches im sure it'll do the trickUpdate: the nylon sheath upon the first time wearing it ripped at the belt loop seam I then just velcroed it over my belt and after the 3rd time wearing it like that the sides started coming in done you can literally just grab 2 sides of it and pull gently to separate it all so that sucks now I gotta order one and hope it'll fit or I will have to remove the para cord since under that is the rubberized handle advertised

Tool is HEAVY DUTY and very well made. Comes with hand strap and carrying case. Good Price, Highly Recommend!!!

Smooth opening. Lightweight, window breaking tip is perfect and works well, both soft and hard cases included. A must have.

Excellent product for self defense! Extends out perfectly and smoothly, but the retraction can be a hassle at times. After applying a bit of WD40, retraction was a lot easier.

I read reviews and was hesitant because of retracting issues but I purchased. Mine retracts well with pressure and what I don’t see as the amount I would expect to close a security baton
