Good product
I have used it only a few times, for shallow frying. So far it seems to be a good quality product. It is not so lightweight, but that is is a sign of quality. Good heat distribution and easy to clean. Although the handle is steel, it does not get hot at all. When you buy note the size of the tava. The one I bought is 22 cms in diameter. Hawkins have two larger sizes also. Buy the smallest one possible considering your needs. Larger one will naturally consume a bit more fuel. Note that the bottom of the tawa is slightly curved. It is not flat.

Amazing!
This is perfect for making rotis. I have an induction stove and this works really well. For the first time my roti was beautifully risen. And I know it is down to this tava for sure. I am not an expert and this is my third time making these.
