Urban Platter California Unblanched Almond Flour, 1kg (Naturally Gluten-free, Low-Carb, Ideal for Baking & Keto Recipes)

I ordered the unblanced almond flour and was apprehensive. Idea behind the flour was it would be a low-carb substitute and for someone looking for a mild-keto diet. I am impressed and will continue to buy this offering. Oddly, one thing bothers me much about pricing - whether *only unblanched almonds* are milled and no other additives are offered. That said, it is a healthy choice. It has been sitting on my shelf for quite some time(a few months actually) and it is still fresh, no obvious smell, tastes great( i suffer from anosmia). My brother did not like the taste of the flour which I find surprising. No baking plans yet, we prepare dosas and rotis for KETO dinner. will research more recipe ideas (I guess urban platter can put a link in product specs for recipes :-))

Very good quality

The product is good for general purpose use, but using it for things like macrons will not be advisable. its slightly coarsely ground, it has almond peel. this would give your macrons rough and uneven surface both in terms of feel and aesthetics.

tasty. especially for biscotti

This is the third time u have orders almond flour from urban platter . Yeh last two Times the quality was good but this time when u opened it today it was smelling like old rancid almonds even tho it says that has been packed recently I am stuck now while I’m in the middle of my Christmas baking . This entire one kilo is wasted.

Wonderful product for health conscious people out there. Hands down, worth the spend.

Good quality and tastes good. We made pancakes and they were delicious!
