Shure SM57-LC Cardioid Dynamic Microphone

Sweet pick up very adorable sound. Like 1st GF of any musician.

I actually thought SM 57 is overrated before using one , But have to say this is really a versatile microphone! Acoustic Guitar, Spoken words, Guitar amp Sounds so true!! , No huge boosts , No huge Cuts gives maximum control in Post production. The only thing I didn't like about is recording Singing , May be because Singers move a lot while singing and SM 57 works best in close proximity!! but the Noise rejection is Impressive!!! PS: The output of this microphone is very low so You need an interface with a powerful Pre-Amp or an External Mic Activator!! , And please don't peal of the hologram on the microphone (Which i did) It now says VOID 😔🤦‍♂️😂

I've received 1pair of sm57 mic and this product is awesome genuine study and durable and I have sm 58also but now I like sm 57 because it's shiny texture on output while 58have little bit bassSo if you have thin voice or you want to use on bass drum should prefer sm58 but if you want flat response from mic go for 57I bet you will not regret thanku

Use eq to balance it for voice. It is crisper

I have used this beast in my production forrecording Guitars(through amp out),snare and even aggressive vocals (mostly metal & a few hiphop tracks)I have also used it roughly in the home and studio environment,this is BUILT LIKE A TANK and BUILT TO LAST for ages.If you are planning to buy it,don't think twice.This is an awesome add on to your microphone collection.

I got a fake SM57 from Flipkart and since it was an open-box delivery, I couldn't return the item after after finding out later that it was fake. Instantly ordered on Amazon and got a brand-new genuine and excellent SM57. Go for it. Perfect for everything!

Being a musician in India, I know how legendary this mic sounds. If you are a home music producer and looking for a good and pocket friendly instrument microphone specifically to record acoustic and electric guitars and vocals. Then definitely go for it. Don't consider any cheap condenser mic over this. Condenser mics looks fancy but this mic picks up the desired frequency which helps you in the mics.

The input audio is too low. Did a tom of research and found out I got a faulty mic.

I didn’t know a thing about microphones when I bought this, I just wanted something to plug into my piano and sing, and I saw a few YouTube videos that recommended this model so I went for it. Couldn’t be happier with it, the sound is amazing. It’s satisfyingly heavy and solid build quality. The cord is long enough to wrap around the back of the piano and plug in underneath. Love it.
